Hi there just got done with the new upload software and i am rescanning it is this right so far and could anyone tell me if there is software for the starview that can be uploaded with a null cable as my folks want me to try theirs too thanks guys and gals

It looks like you're doing fine.
The firmware for all the boxes is in the Library & you can head here for questions relating to the other box.

thanks for your help the other day gman ive done 3 replay lite with no problems and transfered the channel data too so everything is aok .. my only problem now is the blue eurovox whether they are clones or not but all thats on another thread so thanks again

counting the vents is only for starview is it not .. its the blue eurovoxs you have to look inside to tell the difference and there is a chance i might of flashed a couple of clones so have to get them back before they have to be jtagged ah well hope they are still working by monday

Yep it#s handy to have, As for the vent counting, I have no idea what box that relates to I was just throwing some ideas your way.
Anyway I edited it out in case it confuses people.
You know where to go for all the Eurovox stuff I'm sure? Those people won't be long sorting you out.

thanks for all your help in the last number of weeks.
as a complete novice both your advice and instructions have been a minor f**king miracle.i now possess a completely updated replay lite.
i stumbled across this box by accident, but find it as good as any of my friends. if anyone knows where to pick one up(Dublin or net)
it would be most appreciated.

yeah ive become very experienced over the two weeks on a lot of boxes down to this site and through the help of everyone on it its amazing how quick you can learn :)thanks

i have been offered 2 ch**us boxes from drogheda (free), dont know the specific type. can they be updated(firmware) to do what the replay lite does, or would they just do my head in?
any help appreciated

Guys can anyone advise me of the frequencies for channels in South Wales emptyhell?? I am trying to save myself another full rescan as some channels are missing.

Is the red light staying on after you flashed it.if it is the box is dead.
so what you need to do is,
flash it first with 7.42a then 7.44 then 7.50 then 7.52 don't forget to untick maintain user,
what you might find the stb link will not connect
ignore this(force flash)the box.
the box will start flashing away but wait at the end for the light to flash red/green really fast this could take a couple of mins after your pc has finished,
then do exact same with the next version until you done them all.
you should then have a green light after you have done 7.52 on your box then load the 9.10 version on.
hope this helps

Can you advise on manual search. The frequencies I've seen are 6 digit but I can only input 4 digits before the field resets. Using Replay Lite software 910.

Go to Auto Search
Type in Start Frequency 290.0
Type in End Frequency 403.0
Change Symbol Rate to 6887
Click search and wait about 5 minutes until it says "View" and press ok.
It will find about 205 but will delete duplicates and store about 136 - 145 depending on signal strength.
When you have all your channels you can load Brian's channel dump from the library.
Did this, now have 90 channels.
Still no Sci-Fi Channel
How do I load Brians channel dump (where is it?)?

For now you can not clone using the latest 910 Firmware.
This feature will hopefully be re-enabled in the next release of the finished Firmware.
So for now you will need do to each box individually.

It seems that you can only clone 910 software onto a box that already has 906 beta software on it. I have cloned loads of boxes this way but have had no success cloning over 7.56 or 7.52. A PC flash is safer anyway, just in case.
