I just started using eMule and noticed that my d/l speed are painfully slow. I've read other posts and see that this may be a common problem. u/l'ers have good speed but my d/l speeds are so slow that this app isn't worth using. Any constructive suggestions? I have a 512k DSL line on (stable) Win98 and all settings are correct.

The donkey network is setup so that every1 has an id. If you have a lot to share then you have a high id and will be on high priority. I download at 140kbits/sec now off emule. Also you have to be connected to a good server. I suggest Silent BOB or one of the donkey servers. AdaNET is also good but at the moment only working with 20000 users!
