Problem with DVD shrink

Sometimes when I burn a DVD with Nero using DVD shrink I get an error message indicating that the file containing the data is no longer available and my hard drives are missing, which I recently partitioned. I restart my computer and the hard drives are there and I can burn the DVD. Has anyone else seen this and how do I correct this?

Are you saying you have to restart the computer everytime you want to use these programs or did it happen just once. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling both programs since the problem started.

you might want to check your disk management make sure you have a healthy hard drive right mouse click on my computer

So far this has happended twice after burning 3 DVD's. I have to restart in order to make the hard drives appear. I will reinstall the programs.

calhounm - How do I check if my drives are healthy. I have Windows 2K Pro.
