dvdxcopy will not play in dvd player

I have dvdxcopy and it will not play in my dvd player. I thought that it might be that my dvd player just would not play dvd-r's but that is not it because I also have another program called (IFOEDIT)and when I make my movies with it the dvd will play in my dvd player what do I need to do

try apex they play everything I havent had any problems with dvdxcopy vers. 1

I have made several backups with Xcopy with no problems (Tosiba & Sony DVD players) using +R Verbatim & Memorex discs. What kind of disc did you burn to, -R or +R? Will your "copy" play on your computer (WinDVD)? If it will, then it's your stand-a-lone player not the disc. I've had 100% success with Xcopy so far (Windows XP, Sony DRU500A burner, +R Verbatim disc, Tosiba player). Good luck.

hey, im having the same problem. i have made several backups onto dvd+r (sony dru120a) and they have worked fine on my standalone (panasonic rv31) but after making a backup using dvdxcopy of MIB2, i was only able to play the copy on my ps2 and my pc. I could not use my panasonic or my samsung and my samsung is not very picky bout brand or quality of discs that i use. ne help would be great.
