Your guidance is sought with advance thanks and appreciation.
I have just installed DVD43; DVDShrink 3.2.0.15; and DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 in my new HP zd8000 Notebook (which came with the crappy Sonic RecordNow!). This new
Notebook is the WinXP + Windows Media Center 2005 Edition environment.
Last night, I tried backing up one movie. DVDShrink did its duty wonderfully as usual. But it did not automatically open up Decrypter automatically (like it did in my other PC). How can I get DVDShrink to do this? And also, why did DVDShrink generated the Audio_TS and Video_TS files instead of .iso files?
Thanks in advance.

arniebear,
Thanks for your super quick response. I'd just noticed to uncheck the creation of audio and video ts files. I'd already unchecked the using Nero to burn. Will try later to see if this will do the trick. Thanks again.
Hi arniebear,
Just tried - same result - Shrink created Audio_TS and Video_TS files instead of .iso files - Decrypter just won't recognize them and neither did RecordNow!
I am really baffled by this new behavior. Any advice?
When you hit Backup on Shrink, the Backup window pops up. Under Target Device > select backup target. The drop down meun has Create ISO image file. You must have Create DVD Files > Hard Disk Folder selected.
Noqoilpi,
arniebear,
Thanks for your replies and patience with me.
Net: I'm getting close - but a new problem.
I followed instructions and progressed to having Shrink transitioned to Decrypter. The DVD media/blank I'm using is TY-G02, which is supposed to be good for up to 16X. But, the Log could not even identify it on this Notebook.
Sorry - but I'm including the LOG.

Please advise what settings I might need to adjust next or did I get myself a BAD dvd burner? Thanks.
An Update.
RecordNow! was successful at picking up the Shrink generated .iso file and completed the burn without any complaint.
I hope I don't have to stick to this route.
Noqoilpi,
Thank you. I am not ready yet to get rid of RecordNow. This new Notebook of mind did not come with a CD for me to reinstall - should I want to later on.
I do have Nero and will first try to experiment with it. I know Shrink can easily transition to Nero.
Will report in later when I have a chance to try things out.
