Hi all,
I have been using Shrink for a while and I recently tried to shrink a DVD as I always have done and when I set the target size to 4360 as suggested by this site, it stated that the target size is too big????
What the hell am I doing wrong??

I should point out that I rip/shrink with Shrink and burn with Decrypter!

Thanks!!

24 Hour Party People!

What I need to know is, what MB do I set it at? I have tried 4600mb and 4630mb but there is red on the bar!?!?!?!

Is it because the movie is too big???

Are you trying to compress the entire DVD or just the main movie?

if there is red on the bar then the movie isn't compressed enough. Your MB should be set at 4,464. Try unchecking some of the audio(French,Spanish,ect..)that should fix it.

@waldrop
The target size can be set at 4,464 or less. The reason you want to be slightly smaller is to stay away from the edge of the disc.
The rest is right. Get rid of the DTS in the audio.

That is what Shrink does, turn a DVD 9 into a DVD 5.
