Oh, well that explains a lot. I just assumed an fps, must be online. I've been going crazy trying to find an ID. Thanks... I feel really stupid now. lol!

Want an easy way to find an ID? Try a rental store/service. It costs some $$, but guarantees you a working ID.

Just in case you didn't know about it, a whole bunch of DNAS codes have been added here: http://tinyurl.com/f3wxu and for PAL, try these: http://tinyurl.com/fkclc FYI: Only an online-enabled game has a sticker on the front that says ONLINE.

since so many people seem to be replying here, anyone know what to do when you get the same DNA$ Id from every game? I used the disc id utility from the ps2nfo.com site and every game it checks give me a bunch of zeros and BC at the end... that definitely isn't right. Any suggestions?

Im trying to patch star wars battlefront II and the only I can find is SLUS I need SLES.I got the image from solops2 and it says its USA but SLES is a pal code I guess I'll burn it and see if it is pal dont think so though.

why must everyone have to look for DNA$ codes? (obviously because they're downloading iso's) if you're going to steal the game, at least pay a simple 5 dollars to rent it and use the DNA$ code from an original. it's a lot safer (proventing banning) plus, its a lot faster than waiting for downloads

haha what do you work for a game company or something. could it be that people cant load disc id utility because it is a cd and alot of ps2's dont read cd's that would be a reason to have to look for DNA$ codes for ya

i think you both got the wrong impression from my last post. @xhardc0re, i don't see any type of insult in my post either, therefore, i'm not sure where you felt the 'offensive' side of it (and who says you can tell me whether or not to post?). anyways, i'm all about the backing up games, whether its mine or not. i was just stating that its a lot easier and safer to rent games and use the Disc ID's from them. if i can't support the gaming industry, i'd at least like to support my local giant eagle...(i feel less guilty... not a whole lot less, but enough to satisfy me). just another alternative ;)

yea but like I said alot of people cant load the disc id utility and you cant get it working either so there is a need for this topic otherwise what are you doing here? its not safer to rent the game and get its id someone else could have already made up that id

Yeah but you can still change the first 2 sets of numbers and letters so that it's less likely to get yourself banned.
Off topic: doesn't a percentage of revenue from game rental sales go to the makers of the games? Just a thought.
