when you're tired of wasting your time on something so stupid (leveling up: the impossible time waster..) just use a cheat device. You'd know you'll be sitting hours doing the same thing :(

first off sup peoples , I didnt plan on signing up but due to the last of respect of ff7 the game that changed the world I had to join, first off I didnt give a rats ass about rpgs until my cousin let me borrow and talked me into playing a game called ff7 which he and another cousin of minds pre-orderd that was huge back then because they all sold out!! and when I played this game it changed gaming for me from that point on ,story line, music the best ever to date and so many spin offs of the game make it number one ,G.O.A.T ,movies, toys you name it cant nothing touch what it did bar none and i didnt even play ff8 or 9 lol boring its all about spikey and old grey haired seph just like in dbz its all about (goku and veg) I have another cousin who also played 7 and has not picked up another since then ,they just aint up to parrr and the last one i pick up was 10 and it still didnt move me sorry ,it is the biggest final fantasy series in japan for a reason so give it more respect it sold alot of ps1's hell the music is still stuck in my head ,that says alot and me and my cousin still want to pay again and again because I wanted to be one to beat Ruby Weapon only few have , for those or few who did (claps hands) thats a bad M.F ,and if the remake the G.O.A.T rpg of all time I will be all for it hell the movie blew me away cloud and seph were scrapin in that like crazy and the graphics are the best ive seen so far plus i wanted to know what happend between 7 and 8 ,so hats off to square .. oh and when we rented a house and took a trip to florida my cousins started that movie over like 15 times on the big screen theater room lol

Wow, that was the longest sentence i have ever read. I am more confused now then before I read that lol! Bottom line is all FF games are sick.....still havent been disappointed (XI doent count).

I agree with you, like you said you didnt care for rpg's before VII. RPG's are usually seen as nerdy, so if a game is powerful enough to get a "normal" person interedted in it, it truely is one of the best games of all time.

final fantasy xi was/is badass too. but 7 is what truly makes final fantasy. i can't wait till 12 comes out in english!

Just to toss up some thing in here. Final Fantasy 3 actually started the series in the right direction. Yes I still think 7 is the best. I just got Dirge of Cerberus and I like it alot ^^. As far as XI goes... it was alright but the online thing didn't work. 12... no screw 12... I hate 12 ... Now 13 looks promising though. 12 went in the wrong direction like XI did... so they try to fix it with 13... and we will see how that works out. The main thing I'm looking for right now is Crisis Core for the PSP. Yet another 7 run off but it looks badass ^^

Hey I'm glad alot of fans feel the way I do about ff7 .I didnt jump into 8 or 9 just because 7 grabed me so much. What did all of you think about Star Ocean ? I think any fan of ff7 would love it ,It was slept on . Its reminded me of 7 or lol a brother of 7 its tight, and whats an rpg that was over looked thats good (kingdom hearts ) I will get someday

Ok this will settle this, they should just make the whole saga over F it lol so all people can get into it . 3 did plant the seed I agree on that but I didnt play it, I was to young. so this would give everyone a chance to play 3 . Dirge of Cerberus got to have that! ,I didnt get to play Legend of Dragoon and i still want to. My pick for slept on is Megaman Legends I really liked it . I wish they would have made more along with Dragoon for the Ps2.. peace all

I love Dirge ^^ Legend of Dragoon was fun I liked it too. But other rpg that you might have missed.... I really like the Suikoden Series alot if that counts ^^

Hey, thanks Troten im gone have to check that out. My cousin had it but never let me borrow that one, and he talk about it alot . I had another cousin that was crack out on Alundra lol thats another one I missed out on and will have to beat. Im getting off topic so imma jump back with this.. is there anyone on here that Beat Ruby Weapon (the red dragon thing) on ff7 . I never did, he whipped my ass everytime and MY lil bad ass cousin erased my data which is why I would love to play a remake of ff7 . I Never beat it :(

LOL, i beat him without even pushing a button! i spent so much time leveling up materia, once he attacked me Knights of the round was cast 4 times along with Ultima 4 times.....so it was pretty easy. Thats my one grief with 7, once you learned the materia system the game was too easy. I beat Sephiroth also without pushing a button, pretty weak way to beat the game.

lol damn svtstang you musta had that shi*t up high but i give you probs on that. I did have knights but not mastered when I was picking fights with ruby . I must ask did you lose any fights with him or just fought him powered up like goku super saiyian 4 lmao, I know leveling all that up took hell of time.

I actually beat Ruby and Emerald the first time i played the game without Knight of the Round or Omnislash. Took along time but somehow I managed to pull it off. Just a note: the first time i played through i didn't get either kotr of omnislash and why i didn't use them XD

LOL, I was more like a SS5 if there was such a thing! Quad magic, 2X Magic, linked KOTR with MP absorb, first strike(that might be the wrong name) i forget the rest.......it was stupid. Battle starts and Hades was summmoned, and it was all for sh!ts and giggles after that. Awesome game, too many ways to cheat the system. IMO 3 was the best.

lol Troten you was about on the same boat as me you get hella props as well. I didnt have clouds super limit break lol I got pissed and said the hell with it for now , got too far in the game . I did miss the materia that was on the ice board which pissed me off. I also had a cousin that did the same thang. I guess I passed it up because those glaciers were getting on my nerves!! fallin in the water . but you Troten since you did it (beat the weapons) The movie , made me want to really play this game again . Also damn without kights too ? thats some sh*t to brag about. Also Svtstang I wanna do it like you did lol that something to brag out too. I just want to throw it in my other cousins faces . thanks peps

Yeah, its cool to have it setup where you can beat the weapons in 10 minutes without pushing a button, but it makes the game no fun. On that go through it took me 85 hours to beat the game LOL. Ah well, it was fun.
Oh yeah, the glaciers sucked, that portion pissed me off more than anything else.

i am pretty sure they will. square is not stupid, and they know for a fact it would be a great and the right buisness move. plus they know all about this internet hype going on about it. im sure the tech demo was a test to see the response from fans and non fans, and from the hype, for them to decide to do a remake or not.

Hi all. I don't know if it is just me, but i have notice that i haven't been able to enjoy a good rpg with a good storyline, i mean great story line where i couldn't put down the controller, since final fantasy 10. I liked Both kingdom hearts but they were all too short for me. Anyways Im trying to learn game design right now, i have books plus im starting college for it, and I want my first game to be a knock off from Final fantasy 7.
