to answer who asked about "did the humens make the halos??" and yes i do think that they did,and im Sorry on what i posted on like,........page 16 or somthin.......and i didnt mean to ruin it if it was true,but i think that the humens from the future "travled" back in time and put the halos there,but im just saying that.....and its NOT for-shure..we'll ALL have to see when ever it comes out. O,and one more thing, i do not think that nything will happen on Febuary 9 besides an Xbox live update and downloadable maps and MAYBE even a anouncement from Bungie....peace

o,and another thing,i heard and i beleve(beacase i did it my self) that the "Febuary 9th" thing in the credits for Halo 2 is not true,unless I,my friend and my brother did it wrong and i asked earlyer and somone said that it was just a lie :p

Ok, I've been reading this page for a couple of days and felt compelled to actually create an account and throw in my two cents. As for infohalo, who knows if the guy was for real or not, since he isn't supposed to post anything anymore. All we know is that it will be out either at the beginning (Feb 9, 2005), or at the end (Xbox 2 supposed to be released in time for Christmas) of next year. So sometime in 2005 we will figure out what happens.
My question is, why would they leave a whole bunch of cut-scenes on the floor if there is only a Halo 2 for the original Xbox? I was extremely dissapointed at the end of the game and still hadn't seen the action sequence at the end of the E3 trailer when the elites drop in. Yes I read in the back posts that it may be when the Arbiter shows up with a pack of his boys to kick some brute ass, but at least Bungie could let us know what the hell is going on!

Lol, dude Lovehalo, ask me any tips on how to beat halo2 on legendary, i will tell you in no problem. First level is kinda harder then the next ones. And here are my final thoughts about Halo3. When i got xbox, my first game was Halo Combat Evolved, it was around same time xbox came out. So i think that Halo3 is going to come out at the same time xbox2 comes out, or a little bit later, I just hope it is not going to be in 2007 or higher.

oh, and to the dude who's screen is split vertically, do you have a HD-TV, w/ the proper cables? B/c if you do, there ya go. I'm pretty sure you can switch it, but you have to look in the instruction book (yes, I read the instructions, but only AFTER I beat it once) to see how to adjust the settings.

I am the dude witht he verticall split screen, and i tried my halo2 coppy on my friend's xbox and his tv, and it was the same verticall split screen. When he plays his halo2 the screen splits normally just as usual. My old halo1 coppy has a normal split screen(horizontall split) and i play on the same tv on which my halo2's screen split is messed up. I think it is not the tv, but my halo2 coppy is f ed up

That E3 video is driving me crazy, what the hell was that thing? Was it a level from Halo3? Was it a level from halo2, which did not make it in the game? Was it just a trailer to show all the halo fans houw halo2 would look like? Remember in the trailer Chief tries to get on the covenant cruser, and elites that came down were about to jump chief with their swords, then he took out plasma granade and was going to stick it on one. I think it was a level which did not make it in halo2, i think it was ment to be the second level in halo2 or the level called Outskirts, there are so many things that look the same to the E3 demo. First there are like three of big covenant cannons on the beach, these cannons are the same as one cannon that gets bombed in e3 demo. Second there is a tunnel where you go through in Outskirts and Chief goes through it in E3 demo too. Finaly the covenant cruser is there, right in the city, in E3 video chief tries to get in there and in Halo2 you have the same objectives, If it was a level from halo3 then there would be a foreruner ship, the one that you see in halo2 at the end when you beat the game. Another demo where chief is walking inside the human ship and then flies out in space to start the fight(this demo was released before halo2) whell you see the similar thing in the first level called Cairo Staition, accept there Chief is brining covenant bomb back to their space ship. I think both of these halo2demos were special creation to make some money before halo2 was out. I remember that the demos were on sale, i did not get one cause i thought it is just a waste of money, so IXEOS i think bungie did not just leave bunch of cut scenes on the floor, I think they just made them to make more money. So what about dem apples??????????????????????????????????

first of all that e3 trailer of halo 2 that level is in the game but it was modified so was another trailer if youve been paying attention to the cut scenes its exactly like the E3 demo trailer. The name gravemind came from cortana in the second to last level as master chief you hear cortana call that giant creature a gravemind. Although there isnt proof thats his actual name of the giant flood creature. By the way Im still working on a good theory for halo 3.

The second level of halo 2 called "outskirts" as actualy the level in the E3 demo only that alot of changes were made. The dialogue is still the same but the environment was changed but if you look real closely you notice some of the actions and event happening are actuly from the trailer.

Lol i got one theory for halo3 already. Chief stops the Prophet of truth from activating halos through the usage of Arc(which is Earth), there is some control room somewhere on Earth, somwhere under ground(if you red the last halo book First Strike, you will know that Chief descovered some place on planet Reach,it was underground and was built by foreruners, in that place was that relic that covenant were after), and remember in halo2 covenant cruser with prophet in it landed in Africa for some reason, i bet the location they lended their cruse was an astimate location of the controls for all the halos, it is prabobly somwhere under ground in Africa. Remeber cortana said that covenant were surprised to find humanity on Earth, that is why thay brought such a small fleet(15ships), maybe they were just looking for the Arc. And that GraveMind has control over the Covenant city, he is going to ask Cortana where is Earth, so he and his flood homies could go and have a dinner. Then i do not know about the rest, i think that Elites are gonna allie with humans to battle the flood or maybe Foreruners will apear and try to stop the flood, any way we nouw know that Flood is loose and Prophet of Truth needs to be stopped, these are first things which are gonna spark the conflicts in halo3.

Hi all I think one of my friends might have played halo 3 but I don't know. I dont think he even knew. Haha. Do any of you ppl know when halo 3 might come out because if u ppl are right then it shout be soon they have most ot the thing they need right?

i just want 2 say to everyone, is to read the whole thread (except the really long one of the halo 3 plat), some of the theories are really interesting, you people think of good ideas, and im sure some of them are true
it takes a while to read, its what, 19 pages now, but its worth it.. i posted on like page 9 i think..
and can some1 plz tell me what the names of these books are? the ones halo is supposedly about
