hey is there any program as in using devhook like to make the screen brighter than wat a psp is able to by pressing the button next to the mute button... i know psp can change brightness but some software which can make it alot brighter thx

Hey, I was browsing the internet on my psp.. Then, the internet browser went off.. and a screen came up saying Setting Information is corrupted. Press O to reset default settings. I click O and it comes up with the same thing!! I go back onto fw1.5 that works fine but when i go onto devhook and click firmware 2.71 that screen will always come up! Can somebody please help?

You probably just have a corrupted 2.71, just get another verison of devhook from psp-hacks.com and you should be good to go.

same here vbaker, its a file called auth.dat or summt, and you delete it but it keeps reappearing >:(

i got a file in resource in the 260 fw that is an image called 07 and i delete it and go back and try to delete resource but i just cant casue it sais its not empty and the 07 file keeps reapearing and the same thing i installed bombjack in game and now it does the same theres a file that keeps coming back how can i delete thiis

well its mainly auth for me, but in dgen in the config files etc, my streets of rage.ini keeps appearing like the auth.dat, it was a nightmare, when transferring from my 1gb to my 2gb :(

That's a corrupted file.That happens with me too.
There's a corruption fixer at psp-hacks that works like a charm.

okay i need help i dl dev hook .45 and then i put metal gear acid 2 in my iso folder? when i turn on dev hook .45 it brings me to v 2.8 now i cant find my iso to play it is there anything wrong? or do i need to press something to open it up? thanks

What brings you back to v2.8? Do you have a 1.5 FW or 2.8 FW psp?
DH only works on 1.5 FW psp.

after that throw ur psp and dance for 1 hour then pick it up it will work

When you are in 2.71 xmb go to the game UMD icon and your game will be there.(press X to play) If the game is untouched it will work.(some games that are not untouched will not work)
yes the iso's have to be in the ISO folder.
ISO/(all your iso's go here)
dh/(FW files)
PSP/GAME/devhook
PSP/GAME/devhook%
This is all you need in your MS.

okay... im guessing that the umd sampler disc doesnt work? will i need to buy a new umd disc? or is it something else? thanks
