dvd shrink burn issue

I've been using dvd shrink for a while now and never had a problem. just recently i've been having some trouble with the burning. when i burn with nero it now takes a very long time to burn and sometimes it skips the dvd. the percentage numbers now blink every now and then and i can never get the dvd to play properly. anyone else with this issue. please help.

Could have various reasons. Your burner could be on it's last legs, maybe your using bad media, you may have installed software that interferes with Nero or new firmware for your burner. Check for changes you made around the same time the burn problems started.

I had trouble when Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed itself. Nero went havoc but updates from the Nero site fixed this issue.

Hello Granja447,

When using DVDShrink, make it create an .ISO file.

Then use Nero to burn that image manually.

Try to burn at 2x.

Then provide us with the full Nero logs.

Make sure DMA is ON on all your devices.

ok, i started making burns but they are really coming out bad. on my dvd player which is sony and it skips from chapter to chapter, i play the disc on my ps2 and it plays all the way through but freezes at the end of the movie, very frustrating. i'll be doing a burn later on tomorrow and i'll send the logfile, i started using DVD Shrink with decrypeter to burn. any help. i checked everything you guys said so far and now it burns normally just issues on disc, is it the computer or my dvd player. thanks
