Evening all

Realise that this is probably an old post, but having searched the archive cannot find a suitable answer to this problem. Trying to backup my copy of Meet the Fockers (tend to back up everything now I have the facility) but am having significant problems. Used Decrypter to extract the files, but when it is run through DVD Shrink the compression ratio is about 89% which makes the disc size approx 6500MB, obviously too large for a DVD-5. All attempts to lower compression ratio to a more reasonable <65% fail because the slider will not go to less that 79%.

Any advice would be appreciated. Not a newbie of technophobe, have had no problems backing up other discs and built own machine; there have been no hardware changes since last successful duplication. DVD Shrink and Decrypter at most recent version and XP at Service Pack 1.

Any ideas? :)

that's weird. The only reason I can think of is that you have your compression setting set to custom and have it set to 6500 MB. If you can't figure it out try to set it manually to 4300 MB. Try to get rid of some audio also to free up some space.
