CCE Best Settings?

I would say I am an advanced user, but I would like some advice and input on what settings I should be using for CCE.
I am capturing .avi video from my DV camera using Scenalyzer so the video is 720x480 29.97fps
The video is of a Live concert and I am concerned about the fast motion on the scenes where it zooms in on the drummer.
I will have plenty of room on the DVD, so the bitrate will be set high.

What would yield the best possible mpeg?

Have you thought of Maybe Upgradeing to the Latest version because it has a LOT of New Features and with the New version I can give you the Best settings according to the Type of File you have as Different Types of Video will Have to be encoded differently....

I have Been Tweaking the settings in the New versions Of CCE and Have come up with the Optimal settings for Both interlaced and Progressive Sources...You should also learn how to use AVISynth because it has a Load of Exelent Pre-Processing Filters that really Help with Image Quality when Useing AVISynth to Frame Serve to CCE...
You can even use Virtual-Dub and it"s Filters to Frameserve to CCE which works well also and V-Dub has some Pretty good Filters available.....

i have updated to 2.70 and also downloaded avisynth altho i have no idea how to use it. i have been using virtualdub for some time now and i understand it well and have been using its filters where needbe but i have never frameserved before, just output to a new .avi file and used that. never messed around with frameserving, i should give it a try.

please let me know if you need more info on my video. I believe it is interlaced.
