I would say that your burner does not like the disks you are using. Could you please provide the mfr of your disks. Also when did you last update the firmware on your burner. Use Nero info tool to see what your last update is. Also read forum rules on multi-posting.

TDK uses some iffy manufactures. To see who it is open Nero - click on Nero Toolkit than Nero Infotool. This will bring up all the info on your drive and will display the Firmware Version. Click on the Disc tab (make sure a blanck DVD is inserted in the the drive) and it will tell you the Manufacturer ID which will tell us if it good or bad. Next you should go to the maker of your drives website to check the firmware. If you need help with this post back your model #.

rgracie ,
I would update Nero as you are at Nero API version: 6.0.0.0
Using interface version: 6.0.0.0 . Current version is 6.6

You could also use more Ram as 255 is showing w/ 79 available and that really is low and will cause you problems.

don't use DVD Shrink to burn. Try using shrink to create an iso of the DVD you want to back up. Then use DVD Decryptor to burn it. This is the method I use and it works great with any media I have tried. Also I use an old AMD-K6 with less then 256 MB of memory and it still burns great. Also make sure to burn at slow speeds. Nothing higher then 4x.

Besides, DVD Shrink does not burn by itself.
