Sounds good to me! I honestly don't mind if it takes me 4 or 5 days of processing do get it done for the simple fact that I don't have anything else to do and I'm at work most of the time anyway. If I can set up the program to rip/encode/splice while I'm at work and have it done when I get home, perfect. If not, and there's alot of things that need to be done during the process, I can wait until the weekend to get it done. Only thing I need to know is what programs I need. I have DVD decrypter, IFOEdit, and a few others. I do not have Premier, but I can get it ;)

The howto you have would be a great place for a n00b to start.

Hi,
I know a Programme that can Cut Clips from DVDs and also Can Rip DVDs in Mpeg2 format. I heared in there forum that the update version of that software will also take VOB files from Hard Disk and will provide AVI, Mpeg1, Mpeg2, Divx videos.

Hi all,

Sorry I missed the earlier post - I will place the instructions into this thread - they're long and not totally refined - that's where you can help though - use them and if you see an error or a better way to do the same thing we can modify the instructions to make them more useful to a wider group of people.

I just want to read them over one more time - they should be posted in the next day or two.

Oh, one more item - I downloaded the program from 3mbtech about 2 weeks ago and tried it but found that you couldn't work at the VOB level. I E-Mailed them and they said that this capability could be implemented in later versions but is not currectly available.
