I have checked the entire Ratchet & Clank series and they all work with the Swap Magic 3.3 DVD - just as I had said in the summary.
You apparently did not make the game right, are using the older SM DVD 2.0 disk (for which you need CD/DVD loader), or else your PS2 is messed up.

Is there a way you can get GR2 to work with swapmagic 3.3, I know ps2ownz has a patch out for it not sure if it helps non though. Also what about Mercenairies It just came out, is that compatiable with 3.3?? Thanks.

I am officially resigning from this thread. you all can handle this non-sense. if people would just read the forums before posting ANYTHING would reduce alot of non-sense threads & this one is turning out to be one. alredy today, i have been into 2 threads & both have had people post topics about things that eiter don't have to do with the subject or ask a question that has already been answered plenty of time(Like "Do I need to mod my slimline?" or "Is there a fix for Ghost Recon if you are using SM3.3?" So many questions like these could be answered just by reading for maybe 5-15 min.

Well I have news for ya, I have been reading and the only thing I have gotten is Ghost recon works for sm 2.0 and that the patch is only for the harddrive and it works for mod chips. BUT other than there is no place that mentions a fix for sm 3.3, so don't matter how long I read for!!

SMD Version 3.3 = im anrgy cause i didnt think smd would come up with bullsh%t like this so i think everybody should know about them saying on there advertisement its compatible with all ps2 games when SMD 3.3 is have the same problems as SMD 2.0 like these games i kept because i thought some smart nerd from SMD creators would come up with a solution for these games i stached because they didnt work on version 2

smd 3.3 CD version = ??? i dont get it i got ps2 cd based games like STREET FIGHTER EX3, MARVEL VR's CAPCOM 2, and GALACTIC WRESTLING for PS2 its funny cause all these games works perfectly on my SMD-CD 2.0 Version but not the 3.3 new Version of swap magic discs lol wtf is goin on i mean who made these new SMD's some crack headed immigrant hypes at the SMD company just trying to get some easy hustling money to suck on a quick glass Di##ck????
I have a ps2 version 7 if anyone was wondering oyea just so u know i now exactly how to burn so if u are thinking im burning it wrong all my burns was succesfull and like i said most of these games work on the old version of smd yes i am talking about 2.0 lol i bet u there gonna come out with a new better version soon this was just a quick hustlin dallar for them............ lol one more thing dosent it bother u that ps3 didnt come out yet when that sh##t should of been out along time ago they was goin to because they couldn't come up with a solution to stop smd from burning ps2 games so they made double checks when they didnt work they made a new system lol not a ps3 but a damn pstwo not simple to add a flip top to it thats why they created the pstwo-but u could and now look ps2 company is in a money crises again lol soon this shit will be ilegal i know what u thinkin they say on the internet that its not against the law if u own it lol then how could ps2 get away with putting tripple checks on some of there new games comin out? think about it pimpin

I have a v12 and I have confirmed that galatic wrestling works with 3.3 cd. And also Showdown legends of wrestling works not sure if that legends of wrestling 2 or not?

I bought a Chinese version (import) GT4. and I tried to play it using Swap Magic 3.0. No luck!! I was soooo pissed off. Has anyone try to play it on a PS2 with mod chip? Cos I think that's the only solution to get it working. Can anyone confirm?
Also anyone know any store that will install the mod chip for PS2 in the Los Angeles Area? let me know.

Well GTA SA works flawless for me. works flawless for my cousin. I got a v12 PStwo slim he has a V9 PS2
We cant do magic and they work.

here is some more
hitman : contracts, Ratchet & Clank 3, silent hill 4, red dead revolver, syphon filter 3 :omega strain - All seem to work with just the sm3.3 dvd by hitting the special boot option (square button)
midway arcade treasures two still needs the dvdloader as it does a check when a game is selected.
metal gear solid still needs the dvdloader or else when new game is selected it pops back to the intro screen.
Hope this helps, by the way I have the new slim pstwo in case you're wondering. Splinter cell 2 does not work at all, still.

to let you guys know if you didnt already, ghost recon II works fine with swap magic 3.3 with CDLoader v7 BETA 5.2* on v9 ps2 not sure about others other than mine, so try it out think you will be pleased to know it will.

ya, me and my friend tried recon2 last night to see if it worked so it didn't with just swap magic dvd 3.3, so we tried dvd loader v7 all and it worked perfect

I just bought swap magic 3.3 and I backed up my copies of Def Jam fight for NY, Jak 3 using a DVD+R. After following the steps for swap magic its not reading media that I burned the games on. Is there something Im doing or not doing?!!

2 of them work and 2 of them dont
