Nice quote btw
"THE MEDIOCRE TEACHER TELS.
THE GOOD TEACHER EXPLAINS.
THE SUPERIOR TEACHER DEMONSTRATES.
THE GREAT TEACHER INSPIRES."
On my desk at work I have this one....
Tell me and I forget
Show me and I remember
Involve me and I understand

They are long term soapies that never end. I personally dont watch it cause its always repatitive cause this one goes out with that one and then they swap etc.... blah blah blah
but the only good thing i gotta say bout those shows is that a lot of now famous australian actors actresses have had there start with home and away and neigbours...
soo i applaude the shows for that

Yeah I use to watch them when I was younger but don't anymore. We (UK) are still like 6 - 12 months behind you Australians in both shows. It seems weird. Neighbours has kick started careers for people like Kylie Minouge, Natalie Imbrouglia (hope I spelt it right) and Holly Valance. So I guess your right that it has done quite a bit in a way.

borhan9, out of curiosity how much time have you spent driving in western australia?? if i had to call a vet everytime i hit a roo my mobile bill would be sky high, as for stopping, im in a 8 wheeler with 30 tonne trailer, by the time i slow down im already a kay away.
What i dont like is idiots braggin on tv about hittin roos then havin to bash them to put em out of their misery (Big Brother's Glenn). It happens, its cruel not to kill them out right, but its something no one wants discussed

@All
I would just like to let every1 know that Australia is playin the Solomon Islands tonight and they are wining 3-0 so far from the first half and i hope there will b more in the 2nd half....
I know a lot of u will say they are not playin a hard team but its good practice to get in b4 the South American test...
3 - 0
Will keep u posted of the final result :)
The Final Score was:
Aus 7 Solomon 0
It was a walk over :)
Now lets just hope we get England in the Cricket at least in the final test :)

hopefully this time. but in years gone by, australia hammering teams 24-0 amounted to nothing once they hit quality teams.
in regards to the cricket, W.T.F is going on!!!!! since when can england play cricket???? :-P

Well wat can i say first bout the football we really need to step up when it comes up to the south americans... but the next qualifyin after this time we are goin to go through asia... ya!!!
and now to the Cricket....
What can i say as an aussie i am shocked but i do find it refreshin....
But you know what the funny thing is that australia is basically loossin all international games regardless of what code... :)
@LeathalB
We actually have the depth to cover those players if we lose one or 2... but we have lost the team play and our self belif... well thats my 2 cents :)

On the cricket
Well i have to say certainly a good response by the aussies against us today. blinding in fact. still think it could go either way though. i would hate it if the aussies were the better team and we ended up regaining the ashes through say a draw/bad weather. it would just feel like cheating....
