No team has ever lost a championship series being up 3 games thats a fact....that equals.. 4 count em 4 chokes.
Bill Buckner let 1 ground ball hop through his legs to lose a game...that equals 1 count em 1 choke.
You seem to keep ingoring the fact that the Yankees are in the biggest money market in the world, which generates enourmous capital to be spend on leaching superstars from other teams.Why not take that money and build a decent farm system?? because buying a team is easier for George and the yankees since they obviously dont have the know how to build talent on there own.

In case you weren't paying attention....I root for the little guy I cheer for the dog,unlike most Yankee fans, I cheer for teams even if they don't win consistantly.
This debate is really starting to bore me because you have not made one good point other than the fact the Yankees win.....I said on one of my first post that the Yankees win, I even posted how many series they have won.
I made a hypothetical point about if you thought the Yanks could win if they instituted a salary cap.You dont even put up a good argument.If I told you the sun rises in the east, and sets in the west, you would say .....oh yeah?? well at least the Yankees win.

I agree with jim_dandy the players are bought out,not because they want to play for the Yankees.It is the fact that money is involved,easy as that.I honestly don't really hold alot of repect for the Yankees as they are an all star team.How can they lose if they are holding all the best players in the league.You know all the best players are going to want to go to the Yankees to get the green,money makes the Yankees.I don't think alot of people realize this,but no other team can spend as much money as the Yankees do.I have respect for the teams that can win the world series without buying up all the all stars of the league,and yes the Yankees are a bunch of sellouts(that means all those all star players that sell themselves to the Yankees).I stopped watching baseball for the fact the Yankees pick up all the best players,it gets old watching the same team win the world series year after year.

Oh by the way kinza,sorry if this is messing up your thread man.I wasn't actually trying to mess with this thread,but I used to watch baseball alot,and stopped watching it because of the Yankees.If B2D327 had probably viewed pron,maybe his views on the Yankees wouldn't be ellaborated to the truth so much.Hey B2D327 actually supply something,before shouting off like you know what you are talking about.I think as far as I can tell,you have no clue what baseball is all about now.The reason I stopped watching it is because there is no enjoyment of watching the same team actually one team the Yankees or any New York team win year after year and get bragged up like they are something special.I think any other team can win the world series if they had the money to spend like they do on players.If you can't see that,then your are blind man or someone is feeding you some BS.

ok, let's straighten out this whole mess. The title of the topic is "any Yankee fans here", but it seems like I'm the only one who can admit it. A real fan follows their team win or lose. Either there's a bunch of "closet" Yankee fans in here that won't admit to it until october comes around or a bunch of people who hate their own teams so much that they justify it by Yankee bashing. I don't see anyone else saying, "I'm a Cardinals fan or a Dodger fan". Don't blame the yankees because your own teams can't make it to the series. It's their own fault. Isn't the object of any game to win? Plenty of good players are available right now but some owners are either too cheap or too stupid to pick up good, solid players and give certain coaches a chance. All that talk about the Yankee market is a bunch of crap. You mean to tell me that the only good players are all on the Yankees roster? Go take a look at the free agent market and tell me your team couldn't use a few of those guys. If other owners weren't making any money they wouldn't own the teams but they won't admit to that and spend some of it to draw fans back to the stadium. Unfortunately, the fans don't see that and I find it pretty hard to believe that NY is the only place where people are willing to pay to see a game. I'm not gonna go through every team that made stupid mistakes by thinking one player was gonna be their salvation and put all their eggs in one basket but certain individuals will take what I say out of context and turn it around to make it look like they know what they're talking about. You have to spend money to make money. Tell your home team to do that and maybe you won't be ashamed of them.
