did you see the game 20 minutes ago? the yankees were down two at the bottom of the 8th against tampa bay. at the end of their bat, they were up nine. they made ELEVEN runs from when I started watching, for a total of THIRTEEN runs in the 8th inning!!! final score: yankees-20 tampa bay-11. yay!!

I also only watch baseball during the world series, it's a boring sport to watch in my opinion. I don't like the yankees so I really enjoyed what happened last year to them by the Red Sox. Red Sox were down 3 games and win four in a row to beat them and go on to win the World Series.

I wouldn't care if you were.
They are a bunch of overpaid, overaged, prima donna's.
The owner is an asshole,and so are most of the players.
What would an emotional Yankee fan do??

Yankee bashers only talk when they're having a bad season. Otherwise, they're as quiet as a churchmouse. Why? Because no matter how good a season their favorite team has they know it'll be years until the next one. They can talk all they want but no other team will EVER have as successfull a history as the Yankees.
ps: let me know where your team stands in september.

I couldn't have been happier, when they choked on the Red Sox in last years ALCS.
If baseball had a salary cap, and George couln't outspend every team in the league,I wonder how good they would be then?Where would the great Yankees be then?Would there be so damn many Yankee fans??...nope I doubt it.
Too bad the Yanks cant earn a series instead of buying them.
Until that happens,they will always be the baseball team I hate the most.

too bad other teams can't manage to win when those same players were with them so I guess you're gonna hate them forever since most teams can't get their act together for more than one season. Let me know who's bandwagon you're riding in october.
...and I guess boston fans forgot about the big martinez "choke" from the alcs the year before. How convenient.

You talk about how the players on other teams didnt win before they came to the Yankees.Just because they didnt win on another teams doesn't mean they weren't stars,and if what you say is true...Then why did George pay so much for them?...Your arguments are so weak!!
The Yankees are made up of other teams stars, that your big money owner overspends yearly for.Most teams have 1 or 2 big name stars,and when George decides he wants one of them,he throws millions of dollars at them.The only homegrown star you have is Jeter,the others, George bought.You have stars up and down your lineup and they still under achieve most of the time.
The smaller market teams just can't compete with a billionare owner, that has the biggest money market in the world,not to mention the millions of dollars he gets for pay per view games.

biggest choke in MLB history belongs to boston. you've obviously never heard of bill buckner. do you know anything about sports or do you just type nonsense for the hell of it? maybe if some of the other owners could put a team worth staying with, they could keep some star players. everyone wants to be a YANKEE for a reason: to win.
