Dear nettew,
You may first try Rotary's method to see how it goes. If still no, then just post a burning log with any program (e.g. Decrypter, Nero). With Nero, it would be a file called 'NeroHistory.log' under the various Nero program folders. But be sure to delete the serial no. of the program first for security purposes.

Glad that your persistence is finally paying off. InCd has indeed been known to clash with other programs. If you can copy to hd with Decrypter, why not try burn to dvd with it also? You could use 'iso-read' mode to copy dvd to hd, then 'iso-write' mode to burn from hd to blank dvd. Maybe you could try this with a regular DVD5 movie? Do use a rw for test.

Re. the log, I'm not seeing anything wrong (Maybe Rotary will). But you may try use Nero Recode for copying entire dvd to dvd.

Good luck!

If you're copying from DVD5 to DVD5, there's no need to shrink. In fact, I'm suggesting for you to check if you now can burn before moving on to some other fancy stuff.

Dear nettew,

To make things simple, try the following:

1) Insert dvd

2) Run Decrypter, click 'mode' and choose 'iso-read'. Decrypter should read your disc and display the info.

3) Set 'destination', then click the green arrow. Decrypter should save the dvd as iso onto the destination harddisk folder.

4) If you could go this far, remove original dvd and insert a blank dvd (if you have a rw, use it for tests). This time, click 'mode' to 'iso-write'. Set source and destination. Decrypter should write the iso onto the blank disc as dvd.

Good luck!

I had the exact same problem when trying to create dvds from a DIVX avi. If you are using NERO download a patch from here:

http://www.nero.com/en/Patch_for_NVE3.html

Everything will now work perfectly!
