i know what your problem is. for using Splinter Cell, there are actually two gamesaves. once you drag the two of them to the PC Database, one called "Linux Installer" will be at the top and the Splinter Cell save "Linux". you will need to drag them both to your memory card and copy them to the HDD.
@ARMAX peeps
ARMAX doesnt always work. it usually corrupts the gamesaves when transferring them to the HDD. you will probably need to purchase an AR...or even you can go for a Mega X Key.

you know what dude, you shouldve followed the tutorials. i think just about every one says to use the ORIGINAL AR SOFTWARE AND CARD as opposed to the newer.

I have draged both onto mem card and saved to HDD but for some strange reason it not working it still does the same thing. And i made sure to get a origanal copy of SC so i know thats not the problem. Do i need to have my xbox connected to my router???

your XBOX shouldnt be connected to anything but your TV and your electricity.
you may want to try a platinum version of Splinter Cell, thats what i use.

illmag, just plainly shut up. hans had an intelligent question asked, and you just blew him off because you cant softmod your XBOX. btw, i think i found out your problem. MAKE SURE THAT LINUX IS THE ONLY SPLINTER CELL PROFILE on your XBOX.

you can only use FTP to put mp3, mpeg, all that shit on your XBOX and use it as long as you have a media player. i suggest XBOX Media Center or XBOX Media Player.

okay i got everything transerfered over, but the ltools menu doesnt even have a menu, it only has mech assualt, and mechassault as an option.. any ideas? am i missing a file? can someone give me a link to that one hot file??? ehhe

ok i've tried the SP, platinum edition too and it takes me to a screen saying you xbox requiers service, please contact xbox support.
i'm at a lost on what to do here... could there just be somethign wrong with my box??

do they still ban from matchmaking even if you don't mod on it. so lets say i have a softmodded xbox and played online but didn't mod on it would i still get banned form it???

So i modded my box with no problems. I go to transfer files onto using smartFTP. I can access my box, but when i go to transfer the files (using a drag-and-drop method) it transfers the files, but not the directories. Should i try a different program to ftp? I connect using a static ip and a cross-over-cable. If you have any ideas let me know.... Thanks

@MyRobot - YES you WILL BE BANNED even if you're not hacking the game. Going on Xbox Live with a modded Xbox is an automatic ban....if you choose to listen to someone else who informs you differently, that'll be your $60 down the drain....

thanks jonbtrini... but the next thing is.... it loads up linux... i backup and the screen goes blue and green then it sits for ever.... after that... i'm not even sure if its done.... like a day.. then i install using the 2nd option down and it does the same... could it be that the file is corrupt? any ideas?
