1. Rip with DVD Decrypter (approx 45 mins)
2. Re-auther with Shrink (allows me to split a long movie into 2 discs without major compression). (approx 7 mins)
3. Use VOB Blanker when needed (when it won't open in Shrink)
4. Burn with Nero (approx 22 mins)
Sorry to hear about DVD Decrypter, I will change to DVDfab Decrypter if needed.
I am starting to get file read errors on new movies, may be the sign to get friendly with DVDfab Decrypter.
DVD Decrypter still works fine using the PgeEdit plugin. A little more involved but not bad once you have done it. Lots of diehards out there still very loyal to DVD Decrypter and are keeping it alive. Kudos to them for the effort. Lots of respect out there for UK Lightning and his program.
Ok, I have done a lot of researching, at least I think I have....I am going to be honest with you all I do not know any "short terms" and am very very new to this stuff. I have Nero, I have DVD Decrypter, and also DVD Shrink. I know that when I tried to back my files up on shrink it said it was going to take 188 hours and 23 minutes!!!!So then I tried to use the Dvd Decr. one and it is saying it is going to take 9 hours. I tried looking up this to see if other people were having this problem, and the longest time I have found is 4 hours..I have checked to see if my "dma" was still on DMA and not PIO and it was....I only know those words due to trouble shooting too. Please if there is anyone out there, please help me..I hope I am not repeating a question, I did look the best I could to see if I could fix it.....Oh also I dont know how to give you all the information about my computer, like how much memory and all that stuff. My computer is only 2 weeks old and I know I have a lot of memory space. It is a compaq SR1720NX.Thanks again
