All you need is a WiFi Max
Wireless Internet on your PSP with WiFi MAX!
WiFi MAX with it you can create your own WiFi network without a wireless router to your PC. You don't even have to be in the same room.
1: Install the Software
First you must install your WiFi MAX software. It's easy to do - just insert the CD supplied with your WiFi MAX into your internet-enabled PC. If you have auto-install enabled, installation starts automatically. Follow the on-screen prompts and choose your server type as explained in the manual, and you're away. That's all there is to it...
2: Connect the Dongle
Now connect your dongle by fitting it in any free USB port. For convenience ou can fit it directly into the PC, like you would a flash drive, but for best results, use the supplied lead and docking station. With this, you can position your WiFi dongle to achieve the best possible connection with your PSP, a little like you would when positioning an indoor TV aerial. WiFi MAX has a very impressive range. You don't need to be right next to your computer when using your wireless network with your PSP. In fact, you don't even need to be in the same room!
3: Connect to Network
Now you have your wireless network set up, it's time to connect your PSP. Using your PSP's browser, you can search for a WiFi network. As long as you're within range, your PSP should pick up your new WiFi network created by WiFi MAX. But what can you use it for?
4: Online Gaming
Some PSP titles offer an online option. For example, WipEout Pure offers downloadable content, and SOCOM: US Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo offers a full-on, 16-player online multiplayer match-up. With WiFi MAX, you can play online-enabled multiplayer games with PSP gamers from all over the world, even without a wireless router!
5: Managing your Media
Using WiFi MAX Media Manager, you can share your video, image and music files over your WiFi network. You just launch your PSP's web browser, go to the location shown in your WiFi MAX PC app, then browse your media files.
6: Video Encoding
Your PSP can only play videos encoded in a certain way. Our Media Manager software takes the hassle out of converting videos to a format your PSP can understand. When you transfer a video to your PSP with MAX Media Manager, whether through a USB cable or WiFi,it arrives correctly named, filed and encoded to the PSP specification. You can adjust the video quality too, balancing file size with audio-visual clarity. Suitable formats for transfer and conversion to your PSP include AVI, MPG/MPEG, VOB (DVD), WMV, MOV, MPE, 3GP and MP4.
7: Surfing the Internet
Accessing the internet through your PSP's WiFi MAX network is easy. On your PSP?s menu, simply select WWW Internet Browser. If you don?t have the Internet Browser option, you need to upgrade your PSP?s browser software, consult your PSP?s user manual.
8: Game Saves
WiFi MAX Media Manager is your ticket to the exciting world of downloading and exchanging game saves with PSP gamers from all over the world. Just click on the Saves tab and you can then download all sorts of game saves uploaded by users of Datel's Action Replay MAX for PSP, and also Power Saves, exclusive save files created by our code crackers. To transfer your saves to the PSP, you need to connect your console to the PC with a USB cable.
9: In Summary
In a nutshell, you're getting an awful lot more for your money than just a WiFi dongle. Just £29.99 buys you all these exciting functions:
? Access Content on your PC Wirelessly!
? Video Encoding
? Downloadable Saves
? Media Manager Capabilities
? Auto Image Resizing
? Online Gaming
? Surf the Internet
? Wireless Networking
What more could you possibly want?

Oh sorry to hear mate. I think you could find the settings on your internet connection by right clicking it. Look around for the shared section and see if it is ticked. You need it to be.

it's not illegal to use neighbors internet service if it's not encrypted. there is no law in the U.S. against it.
