what Firmware do you have? 1.50? 2.00? 2.50?
FOr 2.00+, you need to set up a connection. INTERNET DOES NOT COME FROM NOWHERE. You need a WIRELESS ACCESS POINT or ROUTER.
Set up the connection (your SSID, if you dunno, scan for it, your encryption, password, DNS/IP settings...). THEN run the webbrowser. HOWEVER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A ROUTER DONT BOTHER. WEB DOESN'T COME FREE FROM AIR. IT IS NOT LIKE A MOBILE PHONE. ALSO DONT BOTHER USING YOUR NEIGHBOUR'S ROUTER, IT IS PROBABLY ENCYRPTED or you will BREAK THE LAW. Use Public Access Points eg at Starbucks IF they clearly say PUBLIC. AND if you know what you're doing.
FOr 1.50, you need a homebrew browser, like wipeout pure, fired up, tenchi no mon...
Set up connection. For primary DNS 67.171.70.72 for secondary DNS do your DEFAULT ROUTER. b;ah through the rest. Run the game, then run the browser. Ta.
I was told to change my sig so I did this.

Had a question myself about the browsers. I use firmware 1.5 for homebrew and 2.0 for web browser. I am aware of the other browser for the 1.5v but does anyone know in their opinion which of the browsers is the better of all available at this time. Tired of upgrading and downgrading but i do like the 2.0 browser and have no choice when i play GTA LCS.

im usin my friends bros router cross tha street. But tha dang thing only works when im close ta it. So wats tha point of have tha interent when ya cant use it when ur far from tha router?????
And can i chat on tha internet??????????????????

That is not normal to have to be close to the router. I can go anywhere in my house and outside to a certain distance.

Hi im having trouble with getting the internet.
I've read most of the threads on here but couldn't find any answers.
I am trying to connect to the internet using a portal primary DNS address found here: 67.171.70.72
I have wipeout pure in iso format. I load this with fastloader and goto downloads etc select the connection i want. Then it goes to a black screen with something in the top left corner. Presumably loading??
It then just sits there on this black screen. Have i done something wrong??
I think I have set up the Connection correctly because I can successfully complete the test connection.
Please help.

Been using the Web Browser at various 'free' Wi-fi points in my area and was wondering if there is any way that the owners of these 'free' Wi-fi points have a History of what web-sites i have been browsing and what i have downloaded?

Arti_sim ... It's not a good idea to go steal your neighbours bandwith ... EXPECIALLY Tell everyone here lmfao.
A) It's Against the LAW
B) There is Logs on websites viewed depending on the software they have is how good them logs may be ... However if they were smart enough they could easy track down what sites you have been looking at ... and if prono sites appear , lmfao tell me ur story when u get BUSTED :P kk
Anyway Just buy ur own router and use ur OWN BANDWITH that YOU payed for....

Yes i do have a wireless router etc. As I can connect to the wipeout pure download page via the game etc. But when I try and connect to a different portal it just stays on a black screen.
I've tried several different primary DNS.
I'mn presuming it will be okay to use the .iso version of wipeout or do I need the original for this hidden browser. Couldn't find anything that says otherwise in using the .iso version to connect.
