I'm in PAL region, can I play if I change my Console ID and Patch my Subsistence?
I can´t also wait 3 months (maybe more for PAL?) for this game.

I've got my PS2 now with a NTSC/JAP Id and a patched MGS3 Subsistence with the ID XX XX F5 10 A5...I have in the memory card the network file reconfigured for the new PS2 ID but when I'm connecting in Subsistence it says DNAs Error -864...WHY?

I hate to say this but I feel that this may have the same sort of troubles that Socom had. Wich pisses me off since I will be buying this day one, but dont see it fair to have to wait two more months, when I could be practicing and enoying it now.
Also, it maybe because we are not using a Japanese ISP? Could that be part of it?

SCPH39003 JAP
2A D2 11...
07 2C 01...
fist hex code console : 39+3=42=2A (hex)
second hex code link id : the console code is 42=2A
console id + 2= 44 =2C
SCPH39003 PAL
1A D2...
07 1B 00...
first hex console code: 39+3=42 , 42-16= 26 , 26=1A
second hex console link id: console code + 1 , 42+1=43, 43-16=27=1B
SCPH30004 PAL
06 D2...
07 07 00...
second hex id link 3 + 4 = 7
first hex code 7-1=6
thinking...
SCPH30004 PAL to SCPH30004 JAP
If in a 39003 Pal to a 39003 jap :
Id console: 1A--->2A , 26--->42
Id iLink:1B---->2C, 27--->44
In a SCPH30004 Pal to a SCPH30004 JAP:
PAL SCPH30004
06 D2...
07 07...
Id console: 06+16--->22=16(hex)
Id iLink: 07+16---->23+1=24=18 (hex)
JAP SCPH30004
16 D2...
07 18...
It's correct? I'm not sure but later I'll try it

The disc id posted in this thread is a fake,the last digit of the disc id can only be 4 or C, just look at the others disc id ....
I'm searchng a lot for a valid disc id , but I can't find it nowere, I hope someone post it :D
By the way... error -864 mean that the disc id is PARTIALLY incorrect, I mean that the last 2 digit are wrong... error code 402 appears when also the region code is wrong (the number 10 of the disc id):10 is Jap , 30 is USA , 40 is PAL, so the region code is correct.
I hope I was useful to someone at least :)

Waitaminute, the XX are NOT supposed to be there.
You need to use you ORIGINAL serial numbers for the XX in your machine Id.
And in the CD, just make up any hex number, and hopefully it's not being used.

Sup, y'all? So has anyone gotten it to work online? This is my dilemma. I changed the IDs but I'm gettin a -833 error, which is a region error, when I try to configure my network settings with the start-up disc. Should I have left my orginal network settings as they were and tried to get online with/through the game? Holla back, thanx.

delete any information off your memory card, the dvd data and the network settings, start the game, and create new network settings using the configuration ingame.
