I received the message "phone restriction off"...this is my first time unlocking a phone, i assume that means success!

alliebot, if you have cingular usa, the unlock codes are:

or

let me know if your provider is not cingular.

for everyone who wants to unlock their 6102 themselves, do the following:
1. grab nokiafree calculator from http://geocities.com/benofficialmail/NokiaFREE32003.zip
2. second pulldown menu set to 'DCT4'
3. input your IMEI number/country/provider
4. on 5th pulldown menu, choose 'Asic 2', on last pulldown menu choose 'Original'
5. Click 'Calculate'
that's all! try the first or last codes, they're the ones most likely to work.

before I can issue you a code, I would like you to be aware that some 6102b's are not unlockable by code at the moment, your fone maybe one of these models. Your fone may become hardlocked. Do you still want a code?

Hi, just picked up a nokia 6102 and tried to unlock it several times with a calculator. It gave me the messege along the lines of Phone Restriction on or something like that.. anyway, can someone please unlock it for me before I burn it out ... thanks
