that totally sucks, the developers should find a way to enable game saves for the n64 roms.

So if I get this right, the N64 emu from the Zelda disc does not allow saves. Probably since the original ROM ie Super Mario 64 requires an Eprom save, not SRAM. You would most likely need to patch the ROM to enable it to save to your memory card (SRAM). I have a Doctor v64 and it has an SRAM adapter and a multiple Eprom adapter allowing saves to selectable banks on the eprom. This is the pain with catridge based games.

Without saves, games like Mario 64 are useless on a GC. mario Kart on the other hand would be fine. Same as Wave Racer etc...

not haveing saves would and does suck, but a hacked rom to allowe saves would be great or a hacked rom that has every thing done (levels, missions, guns, maps EVERY THING would be good too.

Front Load NES, DreamCast, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, MacBook Pro (w/ Laser Etching), iPhone 8Gb (w/ Laser Etching)

out of all the roms out there, which ones are hacked? so I can get an idea so when it comes to finding them, I should look for the hacked ones. other than finding hacked ones, are there tutorials out there for people like me to hack it myself?

I really want to play mario party 3 which is a rom for the 64, it'll be great if all the gameplay is unlocked, which is basically the same as beating it yourself.

thanks.

Hacking the save game required programming knowledge etc. But adding a trainer is as easey as finding the trainer file and patching it to the rom.

All roms can be patched as long as someone has written a trainer patch for it. Look around I remember seeing some years ago. IO belive they are IPS format or something like that.
