Courier just been checked the inner hub and read out the magic phrase GG000123 hell yeah!!! Yet to do ascan but can tell that these are gonna last. One more question think I might be burning too close to the edge as I'v read somewhere that you need to change it to 4300mb to get the best burns how do I go about configuring Nero Ultra edition to do this?

there's a couple schools of thought about the target size. in theory you don't need to alter the target size when you use top notch media such as this, however i personally advocate 4300MB (and i stick to this myself for ALL burns); different ppl use slightly different figures but for me i've wasted too much money on discs to leave the target size at the proverbial 4465MB just to gain 100MB or so. when you burn at say 4300MB and flip the disc over and see how close to the edge of the disc that it really it just (in my opinion) isn't worth quibbling over a tiny bit of space.

Nero Burning Rom doesn't have a target size setting but Nero Recode does (can never remember where it is). if you use DVD Shrink and then Nero Burning Rom then you alter the target size in DVD Shrink's preferences

Look at the lower right hand corner. I've clicked on the dropdown menu for target which shows choices. If you wanted 4300MB just click on Custom and you can enter it there. That's how it shows 4400MB which is what I use with TY media. :)

Many thanks d/l a trial version of Nero recode now, :)
as it wasn't included in my pakage of Nero 6, not sure why I'm sticking with Nero 6, but heard that 7 hogs too much ram and I only have a very weak computer, works fine now so sticking with it.

K then question u sure these verbTY's are real as so far have backed up 10 of my games (and 3 off cpu). The loading times are like 5 times worse than all of the backups on datarite and ridisc and when I say 5 times im not over exaggerating, dragon quest starts and stops like nearly all the time yet they all work perfectly on the other media.

Will try on my mums liteon 2moz..
