I gernerally just network my stuff to MC.
How do you usually get your elfs?
You could download Stinky's AIO disc and add it if its not already there. Google for that disc.

I have the ToxicOS megapack installed on the hdd i use for ps2 gaming
I am obviously using a 2nd hdd to dick around with AVI files and stuff on the ps2, which I need to format...so right now I have no elfs on my mem card or anywhere other than my primary gaming drive.
I am going to try this TITLE.DB thinger and see what I can do

Well crap, I got the DMS Format elf on a boot disk, that works...now the hdd im using refuses to be seen thru the elf
I formatted it for ToxicOS in WinHIIP, no go, formatted it for hdloader 28bit in WinHIIP, no go.
What format should the hdd be in to be recognized in DMS Format?

I dont know is SMS 1.6 is seeing my drive or not, just shows me the cd contents (with the SMS elf).
The hard drive has an .AVI on it, put on with PFSexplorer on an 896 meg partition.
Anything I could have screwed up or need to do for SMS to see the harddrive?
Thanks again!

At the top of the screen there should be a little disc icon and if the hdd is detected which it should then there wil be another icon there. Press across on the arrows to move between them.

Yeah, I read the sms help files but Im wondering why my hdd isnt detected...I had to have screwed up something in the formatting stage or whatever.
I couldnt get DMS Format to recognize it, but I did get it formatted with PFSexplorer and got an AVI file on there. I just think I messed something up with how I did all that, damn portugese

Any chance you could upload your PFSexplorer to somewhere like rapidshare.de as i just accidently deleted my copy of it. And as for DMS does your good HDD get detected by it if it does just use that for PFS it if stuffs it up just use WINHIIP's scan/repair function works for me each time i stuff mine up.

As PFS is still loaded with bugs i dont think the creation of partitions works properly, i read the other day that a new version of WINHIIP would come out some that has support for PFS partitions with would be really good.

mines 28-bit hdloader. Try formatting your HDD with hdloader then load it up with DMS format tool.

Well, I used the hdd I have my games on. It was formatted with WinHIIP for ToxicOS. That drive worked with DMS Format with no changes. I created an 800 meg partition with DMS Format (retaining my games and all) and that partition showed up for me in PFSexplorer.
Popped some avis on it, played fn perfectly with SMS Media Player 1.6
Thanks for all the help Andrew.
So anyone that says it can't be done, it can be, and easily ;)
