yeah it has bios connections but you can solder them the nder side which is easiar for me

another question:

it is possible to play ps1 games from the HDD. when i tried it said it wasnt a PS2 disc.

No you cannot, unless you know 100% that the lead goes right through.. the PS2 is a multi-leveled board.. that means that there is more layers of circuit sandwiched in the board.. so jus cause the top lines up with the bottom doesn't mean they are the same lead.

Go buy a very fine soldering iron get a strong magnifying glass and a good light.

the bios connections for the V9/10 are on the bottom of the board and can be used rather then directly to the chip but they are still bios connections none the less and all modding require bios connections for authentication authorizing.
