aabbccdd, is the combination of using DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD better than using AnyDVD alone?

AnyDVD is a decrypter which runs in the backgroud(also has a ripper), DVD Decrypter is an outdated ripper that also burns to DVD. CloneDVD rips, shrinks and burns. Great combination to use is AnyDVD and CloneDVD....20 to 30 minutes from start to finished DVD (via hard drive). Very simple and straight forward.

don9012, AnyDVD in not an encoder so you will need CloneDVD 2 ,dvd deceypter or DVD Shrink etc. to run with AnyDVD ,AnyDVD is the best on the market and my choice would be to use CloneDVD 2 with it. use this guide for help

aabbccdd, thanks. I agree, AnyDVD + CloneDVD is the best way to go. I reached that conclusion after stuggling with DVD Rebuilder and QuEnc, and realized that 5 hours of waiting is just not worth it.

I have found that using AnyDVD and Nero Recode2 is twice as fast as using AnyDVD and CloneDVD2.

and i transcode a dvd with CloneDVD 2 in about 20 mins on avg. i dont think recade is any faster
