just to set the record strait, I said Xmodd not Xmodds. I never even mentioned your site.
I think there is plenty of room in the world for more than one modding site. But i can not reccomend a site like your as i have never used it.
Xmodd on the other hand i have had dealings with, an the PS2 worked, and still does work, perfectly. It was just the time fram that was the problem for me.
And also you need to stop bad mouthing other mod sites, yes i have seen you under your alias on Teammodders bad mouthing the site.
It is childish and uncalled for. If the competition worries you so much you just need to shut down and take up a new hobbie like fishing. you never see anyone from Teammodders on your site talking trash about you, now do you. That is because we just love the modding community, and have no problem with other mod sites. So you both do modding services, so what. Like i said above there is plenty of room, and plenty of need out there for more than one modding site.

I want to say a few words
Tokijin THANKYOU One could only be so lucky to have a friend like you. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
ecko04 I question your motives here. The only time I ever sent a money request was to a guy who called himself Curt Cain. It was done the day after he emailed me asking for a request on March 21.
So you must be Curt C.. I waited 2 days for payment and then cancelled the request. I did not wait 3 days to send the request. The fact that you lied about this shows me that my gut feeling was correct.
Spedmedal I give freely when I give without asking for anything in return. There are coders at ps2 scene who I gave systems to who did not voice the fact of what I did nor give me anything in return for it.
I talked about this with you before. I gave to these talented coders because They work hard to make the ps2 more fun to own and I use their creations and I wanted to give something back. Its the only way I knew how.
Gadgefreak however did voice my gift to him but that was his choice. I asked nothig of him. He already gave me something ...winhiip. and yes I also donated to his paypal link in winhiip.
Baconx you are not even worth the effort of me typing. You wanted a system for almost free and when I would not deal with you you slandered me in my vendors thread at ps2 scene. Which was cleaned up by <G>.
who warned you that what you did was inapropriate.
Sorry I did not get the chance to read what you posted before it was cleaned up.
I really wish I had more time to hang around and meet the good people of AD but I asm pretty busy with the ps2's. maybe later.
Thanks again Tokijin
Thankyou Steimy,
thankyou Teammodders for giving me the honor of being a part of your team.
And thanks to all the coders who create apps for the ps2.
If any of you need a system ... just ask.

@teamsps2
The PayPal money request was not sent the day after I requested that you send the money request, it was sent 3 days later. I know because I stated on the forums here that I was awaiting the money request but hadn't received it yet. After xmodds saw that post here he sent me a private message stating that he would do it. He promptly sent the money request and you did not send yours until a couple of hours AFTER I had already paid his. No need in paying for 2!
I was sending you emails asking questions about what version of PS2 was going to be modded, how long it was going to take, etc. and you never responded to the questions I asked. Furthermore your spelling when dealing with prospective customers through emails was horrible.
Like I stated before, i was going to go with Team Modders but it was taking too long for them to contact me with the information that I wanted to know. xmodds kept me updated throughout the process and replied to answer every question I needed to have answered. I'm not just going to shovel $260 to anyone without having some questions answered first about who they are, how they've handled customers, see if a site can vouch for that person, etc.
I knew the job would get done regardless of the person I chose because both were backed up by others. Fact is Team modders is a bit slower answering emails and questions, that's clear. When I came back from spring break on Saturday my PS2 was waiting for pickup at the local PO, when I received it yesterday it works flawlessly and is everything xmodds promised it would be and I paid $10 less for it than the money request Team modders sent me so i'm satisfied.
Whether you're skeptical about me or not, I could give less than a damn. I got the product I wanted, how I wanted it from someone who can answer questions intelligently, respectfully and promptly.

I know when I orginally sent the email to Team Modders. I have my item now, THANKS XMODDS!! uy does the modding less than 45 minutes from my location, got the package the very next day...not 5 as Team modders was claiming.
Seems like you're upset because I went with another person and didn't give you the money you were asking for, get over it. It's competition, another person had better business practices with lower prices so I went with the guy that could get the same job done in less than half the time.
OBVIOUSLY he wanted my business, he saw my posts here and sent me a private message where he directed me to his website and gave me contact information, etc. He looked out for the customer in every way instead of someone sitting at a computer, upset because they didn't get business calling a customer a liar.
I hope you're not in a business field, to each his own, I got my item so move the hell on.

Quote: And also you need to stop bad mouthing other mod sites, yes i have seen you under your alias on Teammodders bad mouthing the site.
I have no alias there and I have not bad mouthed anyone there either. The account I had set up there was under spedmetal just like here. In fact please delete it and my posts. Anything I had posted there was simple fact. If you are offended by facts thats your issue pal.
Quote: Spedmedal I give freely when I give without asking for anything in return.
So did I but when I see your crones here advertising your site I felt I was justified to do the same. So David Beren you say that you gave those consoles out because you wanted to give back .... yeah well that was how you justified getting an upper hand in the scene. I'm not bad moutning that... it was a great idea and if I would have thought about it I would have done the same. But dont plsy it of flike you did it out of the kindness of your hart. And it shouldnt bother you that I have stated this as its not a lye ... its just what happened.
You dont need to have a sig in your posts because you have a few senoir members that do it for you ... lucky you. Now we all know AD is in line with TM and that is why stiemy and hurty and a few others are allowed to get away with it. pheilee or what ever his nick is tried to justify letting this happen becauser you guys have a forum ... LOL yeah a forum for TM which is a mod service above all, once again proving that TM has AD by the balls.
I give to the scene freely to Dave Beren. You will find a link on ntba2's site with a link to my site where people can download myPS2 for free useing my bandwidth. I know its a small offering but I do it and dont mind doing so. I would do the same for ULE if it wasnt already being offered at ps2-scene.com
The thing is I dont need a ad in my sig to be prompted to help out at a forum ... I do enjoy doing so. But when the rules are obviously being broken by TM and AD turning there heads I feel that this rule is an way of diverting all people to TM which is unfair. I agrre there is room for us all and that is fine, but when a free forum like AD is being used by only TM to advertise in it doesnt look good to me and especially not for AD.
I know no one cares and I will be banned again soon..... yeah maybe I will give up this stuff... I have been doing it for a long time and never been so disapointed in the scene until recently .... and no its not because I'm not busy and losing business, on the contrary I'm overly busy and had to shut the site down so I can catch up.
Anyway there are a bunch of good people here like tokijin which unfortunately doesnt like Norcalmods either and why .... because I pointed out injustices? So much that he removed Norcalmods from his FAQ .... oh well. But really I'm glad it has gotten to this point and maybe others that read these posts will realize that AD is biased in regards to TM and to consider looking to an unbiased forum for there mod service references. Sad that it had to come to this and I wish it could have been different but at least I have made my point and the few that care can find me at http://www.ps2-scene.com I guess.
Good bye and take care AD forums.

Oh one more thing I just thought of.... Dave this has more to do with AD and the unfairness they are displaying towards TM... and not much to do with you. You just feel you need to reply because you are part of TM. Same with you stemy.

I pretty much realized I wasnt going to be able to change this from the get .... its more of that I wanted to bring this bias out in the open ... unfortunately it ended up with spedmetal, netmech and trustedmods all getting banned. Maybe I did some good maybe not ... but at least its now known where AD and TM stand.

I just send my PS2 to Dave and still waiting for it to be MOD. Hopefully I can get it back next week so I can play some import games. At this point in time all I can say about Dave is that he gave the best service. I would highly recommand him to all my friends. More PS2's on the way Dave.
Thank you for the excellent service!

ok, to end the bashing since no one obviously read my last post.
1. I do not care that there is more than one modding site, and if i knew more about your site and how good your service was at Norcalmods i would be able to reccomend it to other. I do not make one cent off of TM and their modding service, i only reccomend it because they are people who have done 2 systems for me and done a great job. It is not like there is anything in it for me.
2. my sig is the way it is because of 2 things. I have permission to have it there. and secondly i am not advertising a modding service which is against the rules here. I am directing people to a forum site which contains a lot of helpful tutorials, posts, and online live chat to help solve their problems. Yes if someone asks where they can get a modded system i will direct them to a site i know and trust, as would anyone else.
The Xmodd comments i wrote are 100% fact, i paid them and did not get my modded system for 3 weeks as they continued to tell me that they were out of the chip that i ordered. I also think i mentioned that they did a great job and that i had no problmes with the system.
I am here to help people and nothing more. I am sorry if you take offense to any of my comments. This all started because someone asked a simple question, to which i gave them a simple reply. Once again trying to help someone. I am still unsure as to why this started a war of words. I meant no disrespect to anyone, and did not say anything offensive in the post that started this.
I just provided information to a person who asked a question.

Just to clarify the statement prior to mine:
XMODD is http://www.xmodd.com
and
XMODDS is http://www.xmodds.com
THEY ARE NOT THE SAME COMPANY! THEY ARE RAN BY DIFFERENT PEOPLE!
steimy ordered his system from XMODD, http://www.xmodd.com , and it took him 3 weeks to receive it, while he did receive it they just took longer than he had expected that it would take.
I ordered my system from XMODDS, http://www.xmodds.com , I ordered my system on Tuesday night, they kept in constant conact with me. They finished modding it on Wednesday, they shipped it out Thursday morning and I receive it on Friday morning, overnight shipping. XMODDS did my system for $260 flat w/ DMS 4 Pro SE.
@Tean Modders/ David Berens
There was some miscommunication between us, don't get me wrong, i'm sure they do great work just as xmodds but I didn't get my system done by them. Although they were my 1st choice when I was looking there were some minor communication errors and I went with xmodds since he was replying and responding on IM very quickly and constantly keeping me up to date. I don't take any credit from Team Modders, they do a great job from what i've seen and lets be clear that as long as the chip works....we probably won't see the solder work. You can't go wrong with going with them, just because I didn't or had some problems shouldn't hinder anyone else from going with them.
XMODDS http://www.xmodds.com - KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK!
Team Modders, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
That extends to the other reputable mod sites as well, norcalmods and everyone else!

100% correct ecko04
I was talking about Xmodd and not Xmodds, i didn't even know there was an Xmodds until this post.
Your post is right on point and i could not agree with you more.
I was just unsure as to how i started such a big debate with such a simple answer. I answer tons of posts and PM's every day, and i can never remember a time when i started such a heated debate over something so simple.
I will have to look back but if by some some error i posted that i had i problem with Xmodds, instead of Xmodd then i retract my statement.

Good for you!
I wanted a NIB PS2 slimline v14 so that's $149.99 plus I wanted the DMS 4 Pro SE which runs roughly $50 to $70, which takes the price up to $199 to $229.99 plus professional installation and shipping. So $260 worked out in my favor as I didn't want to buy anything used. The price was very competitive and lower than others including a new system from Team Modders that would've ran $10 more.
I'm happy with the price I paid because a lot of other sites wanted $300+ for the same console and they're still selling older v12 w/ laser fixes, so that's not what I wanted. I believe that the price I paid was still lower than I anticipated paying and for overnight shipping it couldn't be beat.
I'm sure you're happy you found your v7 or whatever, but that's not what I wanted.
