Sometimes the router configuration will not work, and the only way to fix it is to reset the router. This has happened to me once too. Does your router have a button on the back of it to reset it? If so just press it and then try this whole process again. Warning: Before you reset your router, make sure you know how to configure it to connect to the internet again (all of the settings will be reset, including your ISP username, password and many other technical things). Consult your router's manual for more details. If you don't know how to set these up again, then don't reset your router and call your ISP for help.

No, that wont help with anything.

Just reset the router like I told you in my previous post (but make sure you know how to set it up again). Call you ISP if you need help setting it up after reseting
