microsoft is losing money too but sony has a real plan they will make it back with something called bluray disks.

Ah the luck of the irish! I feel your pain man, what it costs for you in Ireland will not be a patch on what we Aussies have to pay. For the price of a ps3 will be way too high here. Looks like a 360 for me!

ps. i have applied and am getting my Irish citizenship soon. I will be able to support both sides for the Aus VS Ire International Rules Match!

i live in america so a ps3 is 600 americans but i hear in the uk it will be OVERPRICED so i feel bad for u

If PS3 games are sold at $90, I'll be buying a 360 in 2007, as soon as the ones with the new CPU arrive. I was planing to get a PS3, but $600 to get the full experience is too much and $500 dollars for a console that has yet to prove it's better than the $400 Premium 360 is still too much.

I like to do things the right way and with my income it looks like to enjoy a PS3 in the near future I would have to become a pirate. To those who can afford it, I'm glad for you, but I don't know if I'll go with Sony during this round.

I would love to be one of the first ppl to get a ps3. I would then smash it infront of lots of lined up sony fanboys. Their reaction would be priceless! :)
