This afternoon during my lunch hour I went into my local GAME to get a PSP game/games and while I was in I decided I'd ask them about the cost of the PS3 games, I was told that they could cost between £60 - £70 and she also said it was all due to the cost of the console and said it's a rip off.
Im located in Northern Ireland!
Where are you located?
How much will the games be selling in your local store?

70 GBP = 130 USD
For $130 I can buy a new PS2 console. The only game worth $130 for me would be the next Gran Turismo.

Im in California, am i have heard that games around $80-$90. Im not sure how ur currency converts, but either way, its a hell of a lot cash for a game. I guess we owe the blue ray disks a big thank you for the price jumps.

no it sucks to be a sony fan! Is there any deterent that can keep fans from buying the ps3? game prices are said to be astronomical and the system is overpriced yet it seems not to matter

like i said this will be a debunked rumour people were saying 80 americans for x360 game in fact when i reserved pdz last july i was told to put 90 americans on the game.

let's face the facts here,sony said that they are losing tons with the price of teh console and that they hope to make up in software sales...OMG their idiots...i think if every game costs that much nobody will buy it!!! it's gonna be the biggest piracy modchip scam ever...everybody is going to copy games...and sony is going down the toilet...mmm and i thouht japaneese people were remotely smart...Guess this proves otherwize...
