Ok I looked over the log again and you are quite correct. The log file I posted was a duplicate because it was also the last one in the file. I think what may be happening here is that when Nero stops working with the unable to burn message I am forced to ctrl/alt/del out of it and so its not able to write a log. As far as using an earlier version of Nero with DVD shrink, Nero API version: 6.3.1.13 was the version installed when this all first started. One of the suggestions I got was to try getting current updates of Nero which is why I have the version I now have. I can of course reinstall that version or download the one you suggested. Just wanted to give you all information possible.

Uninstall the version of Nero you have and use the one (6.6.0.18) I listed to the links to.
If you get a burn error (let's hope not) again try and save the log before the ctrl/alt/del - it will usually give you an option to save one.
Now the Fuji - better - hopefully you have the ones made in Japan which are usually made by Taiyo Yuden - top notch.
At this point set the burn speed at 4x and let's see how that goes.
