I wont be in the US long enough to do that but i am hoping to buy two and sell one when i get back to JA. $800-$900 US $52000-$59400 JA. I'll just round it off to either $55000 or $60000 depending on what the store price is.

you could sell it new in package for more. but i'd sell it "opend for testing only! new!" after using it like a hog untill i had to ship it.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

I think i'll be carrying both of them with me in my hand luggage on the plain. I the one i'll be selling might just stay in the box. If not i'll keep one box and reseal it when i'm selling it and tell them customs opened it to check for weed and coke or something

Hmmm I wonder if the ps3 will break down and/or overheat. I hope not. I don?t think it will though because of the delayed release date(s) for the ps3 and things like that.

I know a couple of "Professional Line Standers" who you pay to stand in line for you for concert tickets, sports tickets, etc. They charge $10-15 an hour. May I'll hire a couple of them (like error5 has planned) to stand outside Best Buy and camp out the night before launch - get myself a couple of the $600 units.

Anyone heard of pre-order lol?
Anyways If you skip school with your friends and they see that all of you were "sick" on the same day they will call your parents. It happened to me and my friends a couple times back in the day.If you take the bus just say you all missed it if your from the same hood.
Be like "we went down the road and the bus came we tryed to run and catch it but we couldn't make it"

pre-ordering doesnt always mean you get one these days. i'm waiting till official known-stock pre-orders are around. and the fine print cant say "you may not get it launch day" or i'm gunna be p.o.'ed so bad i'll kill somebody. (not really but yeah...)

I will probably also get one just to sell on Ebay. Probably get a wii and get some games for my 360 and Wii and still have a few hundred to bank! But It will be nice to have the PS3 box for a few days till I have to ship it!! haha I am sure the PS3 is gonna be the shiznit but there just doesn't seem to be any killa games that will be there on launch day or even this year. I can't wait for Metal Gear but being that it probably won't come out till late next year, I am gonna have to wait unless something else comes out that blows people away.

I did that all the time with my friends. They dont really care. But one time my friends were idiot went right up to the schol window were one of my clases were and knocked on it. One of my @$$ hole teacher came out and said "hey come here right now!" so then we instantly took off to my friends house since it was closest and then guess what we got a phone call from the principle.

This is all a game of cat and mouse,if sony does not have enough to distribute by launch day and all teh stores get sold out, then pre ordered a few will come in handy, because selling them on ebay will most probably be like, for every one you sell you can go buy another 3 from teh store when they get more...lol the monopoly of consoles...

Lucky for me i'm going somewhere that will deffinately have it. They'll be getting a nice stock but the community deon't have alot of gamers. They'rs a target, gamestop, EB, circuit city and best buy. They'll all have and if by some chance on runs out i know i'll have to other. Trust me fine a town with a small hardcore gamer population

There may be flaw to your logic xyqo. If a town has very few gamers then most likely the retail stores there have slow sales of PS2, Gamecube or Xbox hardware and software right? When the limited number of PS3's come out you will expect them to be sent to places where sales figures have been good for gaming hardware and software. Small towns where previous sales have been low will probably end up with nothing at the start but will probably get a few units during the third or fourth shipments. This is what happened to a friend of mine who lives in a small town in the upper midwest (population 5,000). Thay have a Walmart and Target which got their first supplies of the PS2, Xbox, GC and 360 several months after launch of each. There was a bigger town (pop 12,000) 25 miles away with a Best Buy and Circuit City which got 5 units each of the 360 at launch. I think even if Sony reaches production goals (which I hope they do) the popularity of the PS3 will still make it a very difficult find at launch.
