alafossb said:Quote: when i first get my ps3 im going to take pictures of the sexy and delicate box it comes in and slowly open it with holy music playing in the background of my computer while smelling that fresh brand new priceless smell of fresh hardware, plastic, and metal all combined.
eventually i'll mess with all the thigns the ps3 has to offer in the interface and try the online features to see if it's better then xbox live. and i will enjoy it...oh yes.
I will be doing the same, but taking it a step further. I'll be taking pics of the inside of the PS3, for research. With all the heads of the scene getting together to find ways to mod it as soon as possible. :D
But after those initial pictures & a few chats on the boards, the time for gaming will begin. That is what it is a big piece of home entertainment waiting to be exploited.
speaking of which, i look forward to seeing Adam Glasser's videos on a new LCD HDMI & maybe watch a few re-runs of Family Business.

i wish lsd were still popular, its a rarity.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Don't forget, this is the first time in gaming history where Sony is maketing this towards non-gamers also with the advent of Blue-Ray and the large HD for media storage. Many non-gamers will want to purchase this just for the BR player alone which anywhere else costs $1000.00, and think of the gaming side of it a bonus for their kids. So there will be no shortage of potential buyers on EBAY. Just remember to only accept PayPal or Western Union so the check wont get "lost in the mail".
