Help on Burning Ps2 Games

For a start, it appears from the error log you posted, that you are attempting to write to a disc (with max speed of 1x) at 4x, which clearly won't be possible.
Secondly, that disc is a DVD-RW, which its never recommended to burn to for PS2 backups.
And lastly, the error message "Tracking Servo Failure" could indicate a burner problem. Is it still working with other disc images/data writing, or does it only do it with this particular image file? I'd try & write something else if I were you, just to make sure.
And also make sure your firmware is up to date for the burner.

umm are there dvd's that even burn at 1x the slowest is 2.4x isnt it

The disc is a DVD-R and da max it burns is 4X

It clearly states you have a DVD-RW in the drive.
And, yes dazila, there are discs that can only burn at a max of 1x & they're normally RW discs. Speed is dictated by media & burner firmware support.

right click my computer go into manage then click on device manager then click on cd rom drives and it says the name post it back here

i find it extremely weird that ppl dont look for guides on DVD Decrypter here at afterdawn before even posting......

i copies ps2 games of mates using Nero express but when i try to copy an ea sports game it fails
some the games i have tried are:
FIFA 06
NBA 06
TIGER WOODS PGA 06
Why is this??? what am i doing wrong

Do you main Fail after its burning eg wont boot on ps2 or failing during the burning prcess??

Did it say that in Device Manager if so iti's meant to tell you your model. try to see if it tells you this way in Nero startsmart go into the Extras Tab and Click on get system information when a little window opens up right at the top there is a small box where you can select you drive select your buner if you have more then one drive if not just post back with the name

wahid2oo6, looks like you have a Generic writer, which could be made by a number of different manufacturers.
I did a Google search for "ATAPI DVD DUAL 4XMax", and came up with some interesting sites about different brands using that same identifier.

My suggestion would be to buy a new branded writer, which you can pick up very cheaply these days.

Only on Ea sport gamesor on other games too? , I had this problem with Nfs Most wanted what i did was i rebuilt it with gnies expert ps2 rebuilding tool and it burnt after that I think they might have some protecion or something

It isnt being recongnized by DVD decrytptor as a compatible drive so it fails you could do it with Nero burning rom if that works just select UDF/ISO and it will do the same thing or try Alcohol 120% or 52%.
But if that dosent work DvD burners are very cheap You can buy a Samsung Write master for $50au I bought a Samsung TS-H552 December Last year for $45au at my Local computer store

this only happens with ea sports games every other game works
do they have some sort of new copy write proctection on them that Nero cannot pick up
what other software could i use

get img burn then
Just copy your files from your cd into one folder by copying i mean just going into your cd drive then copy and pasting .
In Img burn go into mode and click on build select the folder then click on build it will build an iso file from those files then just go mode write burn at 4x onto -r
