hey tauran22,this works on 2.71 and there is 1% or not even one actually if u follow the faqs correctly.hey and good luck cheers dude.
and ccwdude how about like this i send you my one but where, so that it will be easy for u,just tell me how to send the file to u,coz i feel like u can't get it to work.

the only thing i see in my when i go to photo is, Digital Camera Images. If i click on that it just says. there are no images.

I have also bene trying to get this to work, but I don't see the HEN in the photo sub menu......any ideas?

i get the blue image but when i click on the DEVHOOK0.4X laucherfor 2.71 it looads and says that the game coulnt be started

ah ccwdude i think better not coz file is big and i can't send it to u by e-mail but here i did something else is u can download the file i put in a torrent site.do u know how to use torrent

hey psp clay,i think u must be on 1.5 firmware try setting devhook menu.
umd select : for example:guiltygearjudgement then umd+image
firmware : 2.71
cpu clock : 222/111
boot select : reboot XMB.
parbogrl and ccwdude i can send u a file so much easier but if u have hotmail or yahoo.

hey sorry guys i didn't check twice my faqs but i fixed it now
parbogrl and ccwdude try this
1.open "henb2" with WinRAR (known as homebrew enabler for 2.71(rev.B))
2.plug psp to computer then on psp screen go to "USB connection"
3.move "src" to "memorystick" that means when u open ur memorystick
drive from computer(just drag it to that place),(if ask to overwrite,click yes)
4.open MS_ROOT and move "dh" and "PSP" to "memorystick" that means when u open ur memorystick drive from computer(just drag it to that place),(if ask to overwrite,click yes)

I have a JAP factory 2.6 TA-082. Should I update with the JAP 2.71, and also d/l the JAP 1.5 dump?

OK. now I got all the new files and loaded them up, but now when I go to the HEN folder, my psp freezes and shuts off. I'm really starting to think it's not in my future to get this thing running.

i have told u already this hen thing always freezes so u have to reboot most of the time it depends on ur luck.
keep booting until u see a blue or green screen.if this does not work then try the other method of removing ur battery and memory stick for 15 to 30 secs then reboot.
remember that when u see the blue or green screen pops out then u boot devhook 0.4x for 2.71 ok,don't forget

is there any updates or anything to not make the HEN be a luck thing and that it should always work without fail? cuz this is like the 2.71 downgrader have to be lucky and wait for the red screen!

nah sorry touran22 i thinks there isn't a boot that does not freeze i was also irratated with it too,but i think dark alex is fixing this problem.hope to see the results soon.
and amitguru dude where you been,you've been gone from this forum for 4-days,now that harsh and that coooll!!!.Kidding LOL
yup this already is one big deal for TA-082 user but hell still some bugs that still freezes the psp when u boot HEN program

does this mean there is no need to get a 1.5 psp anymore? If you get rid of the freezing problem then this is perfect! No downgrading and you still can load ISOs??

yup that's the good thing rite,i hope dark_alex fix the freezing problems.you don't need to downgrade anymore and u can play iso games

i made an easy installer for u guys out there who does not know how to do it,download this file first.this works for non-TA-082 and TA-082 users
the file name is psp helping.7z,just click on it.

u need WinRAR to open it,if u don't have it then download it here
http://www.sendspace.com/file/qx3c1s
then extract all files inside to ur memory stick except the readme folder ok.then u boot HEN in ur psp.note that this still freezes no matter what,so we have to wait for the update.
