hi
ok they are not mpeg yet! but you can make them mpeg but i am not sure what program you need to use i have not done things this way!
but stay tuned someone will kick in on here and help!
also try search threads for guides and how tos! on this!
converting SVCD to mpeg and dvd !

i think you may need the program called just TMPGEnc or the PLUS version for scvd and VCD!

It sounds like you are having real fun and games, although it looks like Rotary has this matter in hand so I won't interfere. Although I am interested to know what data it is that you downloaded from Kazaa and how long did it take.

I now have Nero, TMPGEnc. authoring program, and plain TMPGEnc., does anyone know where I go from here.

hi there
load the mpeg into "TPMPGEnc DVD author" and either create menus or not i dont! then just run through the wizard and create the vob files and ifos then burn with nero!
burn with a VIDEO_TS folder on the disc!

EDIT:
sorry forgot you have a svcd? you need to convert it in TMPGEnc Plus to convert to mpeg first!

with the first file I ran it through TMPEnc. plus. I chose DVD -NTSC, I found the file through browse, chose noise reduction, and I started encoding. Am i doing this right? Where do I go from here?

I tried to send a personal message and I don't think it went through.
I don't seem to be able to access the file through media player. I guess it's probably not an mpeg
