thats why its not burning correctly mate,you have the correct files now for burning but you have to get hold of version 5.2.9.1 or above fully registered to burn successfully.i do believe you can get crack and codes off sites and the clone cd is available from newsgroups or xbox360 sites put it into Google and get the trial version then hunt the crack or serial.then burn it once you have it and it will work im pretty sure..i had coasters until i had that version of clone cd

I have had working games with this version before.
The only other thing I have done since i had a working game was update my pioneer 111 driver to i think 1.29
Never had the message open tray before I did that.
Anyway I shall try and get that version of clone and give it ago.

Just checked and I do have version 5.2.9.1 .
I am going to give it a go at 4 speed.
Or try another game. I DOWNLOADED need for speed carbon but only got 1 file which was
sp-nfsc
iso file
7,395,392 kb and no other files why would that be.

HI
Just burnt 2 games without any problems at all so I guess gears or war one has something wrong with it. I might try burning at 4 speed later to see how I it goes.
Is there anything I can do to a file that is only showing a 7 gig iso file , no dvd file.
Did everything the same , smart par and extract but ended up with only 1 iso file

on the opening of rar files instead of clickin on the very first file...example gears000.rar,click on the very last rar file that usually be called .. gears.rar (it wont have any numbers on it)
so,click on the very last rar file to open it up instead and you should get your .dvd file
example.........
gears.000.rar
gears.001.rar
gears.002.rar
and right at the end of all your files you have the last one
gears.rar................double click that one instead ok

HI
Thank,s alot again for your help have all problems sorted including GOW , I burnt at 4speed. Everything else seems to be burning no problem.
Off to have a good play now

Me again, ok I got splinter cell new oneand I have 3 files,
all-spl
000 file
2kb
all-spl
dvd-file
1kb
all-spl
iso-file
7,395,392
when i select dvd file clone cd goes straight to 100% and finishes burning after 10 mins.
any ideas.

Open the all-spl.dvd file in notepad
Change it to this text
LayerBreak=1913760
all-spl.iso
Save this as all-spl.dvd, when it says overwrite say yes
Burn all-spl.dvd with clone CD at 4x on Verbatim DVD+R DL.
Great game BTW. 2 in a row for the Xbox360..

Burn it at 4x. 2.4x can produce coasters sometimes.

Hi
Yes have tried 4 speed and 2.4 but just get mixed media disc. not sure why. Everthing else burns fine.
Also do you know if the printable verbatim are just as good as the verbatim i currently use which is the ones with the writing on.

I had exactly the same problem
First make sure you have 2 files a .dvd file and another called image.000
If they arent called this rename them.
Then Follow the link below

Burn using dvddecrypter, you need to edit the .dvd (remove the layer break line) and then you can burn it with DVD Decrypter after adding the layer break numbers manually.
I burn it at 2.5x on a traxdata gold surface and it works flawless :)

Can we keep this a GOW thread instead of every other game you guys don't have a .dvd file for or other problem games?
