i didn´t knew that we need to rebuild games to play with hdloader
(i have a chip and use hdloader 0.8b fully patched ) i thought that was only necessary with swapmagic,i know that to play scarface and resevoir dogs we need to edit the sistem.cnf ,but a rebuild i never tried with any games

Well only one way to find out is install it and see if it works. If not try the various modes and if still no try a rebuild...
I know you shouldn't have to it's just the backup I have is rebuilt so that's what I personally use...

at the moment the only game that i want to play and doesn´t work its splinter cell double agent but i dont think a rebuild will work , but the next time i find a game that doesn´t work i will try a rebuild

im not sure why, i enabled all the modes correctly, but madden 07, and fifa 07 wont do on hdloader. fifa 07 the screen comes, but nothing after. Not a big problem, i barely play those games.

Fifa & Madden should be Mode 3 according to http://list.ps2hd.com
What ver of HDloader you using?
Forums say it works with 8b mode 3

Well I tried God of War using an iso I made with DVD Decrypter and it worked perfectly on HDAdvance 3.0
Now the only game I've got trouble with is Spider-Man. It plays fine, but the voice-overs cut out before they are meant to finish.

Maybe somebody can help me?
I have HDAdvanced 2.0 (its HDL.ELF) on a mc exploit as an elf file it will not let me put a backup ps2 disk on the hard drive but it will an original ps2 disk but I have HDAdvanced 3.0 original disk that when I boot with it it will allow me to install a ps2 backup to the hard drive, my question is how can I put 3.0 on a mc or get what I have to work.
I have tried HDL8B_MC.ELF but can't seem to get it to boot. Thanks

Im using a DVD version of HDLoader. Im not sure what version, but when i start it up, it says free HDLoader then ps2ownz.com, but I got it to work with mode 3 thanks.

HDLOADER is the software you'll need and since you have swapmagic you can d/l it from here

You can make a Memory Card Exploit with a PSX Game as a trigger disc or you can boot HDLOADER from CD with Swapmagic
Personally I use the MC Exploit
you can find all the software & Tutorials you need from that site
So all you need is
Network Adpator
Hard Drive
Memory Card
Playstation 1 Game
Swap Magic Discs
everything else can be downloaded
Well I finally got myself a PSX game but I'm having some trouble making the MC Exploit work.
I followed the tutorial from that site you mentioned: http://sksapps.com/index.php?page=exploitmaker.html
but that tutorial only explains the process up to the stage of burning the disc.
I've tried booting CD Swap Magic and swapping for my burnt exploit disc but all I get is a black screen. What am I doing wrong?

I have a slim and swap has been working great on it. If the laser goes in it they are cheap and thanks to youtube easy to install. I have everything on a hard drive anyway. I hope the guy that said that swap magic disks scratch real fast is waiting for the disk to stop spinning before trying to swap it out. I know it sounds stupid but my ex wrecked hers by attempting to swap all the time while it was still spinning. So I dumped her...lol Also for the guy worried about the laser swap magic 3.6 and higher claim not to put any added stress on the laser. Good luck.

I'll give that a go.

The Beta couldn't detect my net connection so I had to use v4.1 which worked fine.
I think my problem with the tutorial was that I hadn't configured my exploit to be PAL instead of NTSC.
