Wow you are so harsh when people are coming to you for help. You being a senior member here and having some clout here at AD I would expect more from you.

@prutsos

This may once again offend the insecurity's of KC but the DMS4 is known to be very buggy at times. I would recommend the CC2.0 over it. And yes its less expensive to boot!

HAVE FUN!

insecurities? i think it has more to do with the constant bombardment of the same questions on these boards over and over and when they ask rather then search for the answer that's already there and someone takes the time to post the answer for the gazillionth time they STILL refuse to read the answer that was posted and then ask the same question again and again and again in the same thread.....i call it ignorance on their part, you can call it insecurity on my part it won't fix the fact that they can't read and comprehend what was given to them.

Well I guess I can understand that. Its a constant battle to fight ignorance at AD and you are the high crusader that is going to correct this once and for all. Maybe instead of insulting the guy a simple "use the search button" would have been more appropriate. Or you could have directed him to the Tokin boys super thread. But maybe typing insults was an easier out then either of those options. I know one that would have been even easier .... dont type a damn thing!

Have fun KC old boy :)

Well what you will end up doing is booting HDL from the CC2.0's list of installed apps. The from within HDL you can install your games to the HDD. Or better yet you can use winhiip which will allow you to hook up your PS2's HDD to your PC and install back-ups from ISO's on your PC's HDD or from discs in your PC's DVD-ROM.

Have Fun!

Prutsos,

Before you do anything make sure the chip you want to buy is compatible with your PS2, that there is a wiring diagram for it, and that you can find someone to install it for you (or learn how to install it yourself).

I've had my chip for over a week and can't do anytyhing with it because there is no official diagram and I can't find anyone in my area who will install it without that diagram.

I have the DMS4 and a v15 PS2.

if you have a -51 MOBO V15, I've got a diagram for a DMS4 installation, i don't have one made up for a -12 because i haven't ran across that MOBO yet.

Alas KC, I have the -12 (which I believe is the same as the -02). I'll keep my fingers crossed that a diagram will show up soon.

DMS has rumored they'll be letting their 'official' diagrams out soon, but you'll usually find a modders made version like the above before they do :)
