its allrite i was just trying to save you having to downgrade from 2.0 as its another risk of bricking,but the 2.0 downgrader is very safe anyway.

Told u man easy peasy. the 2.0 downgrader is the sfest downgrader for psp, and its soo easy! downlaod from here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/3

there is a read me there so follow that but also follow this guide much easier! http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/389016 (scroll down till it talks about MPH downgrader.

you'll also need the 1.5 eboot but you have that already :) good luck.
