hey i just got myself 2.71 SE-C and i want to downgrade back to 1.5 but i cant i think some files on my psp is missing or something but can someone please help me to downgrade to 1.5

in teh PSP/GAME/RECOVERY place a 1.5 eboot in tehre and rename it to EBOOT.PBP.
on the psp, go into recovery and then hit x on "run program at PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP" this will format flash0 and reinsatll 1.5

i think on the 1.5 eboot it should be renamed to UPDATE.PBP.
If this does not work then place a 2.0 eboot in the same place and rename it to EBOOT.PBP. this will 100% work, but will need to downgrade to 1.5 again afterwards.

yep copy the recovery folder to game then get a 1.5 eboot and rename it to UPDATE.PBP ,the 1.5 one works fine no need to goto 2.0 to have to downgrade from there

when i do that it on mem stick it says 1.5 upgrade then wen i click it it says u dont need to upgrade u are already a higher version wat should i do?

have you got the recovery files placed in the game folder and the 1.5 eboot renamed,if start your psp up holding r to enter recovery then goto run program at PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP like touran said earlier

so wat should i do coz it on the icon after the umd it says psp update ver 2.6 thaty doesnt change but in the mem stick folder it says psp udate ver 1.5 and wen i click that it says im ver 2.71 i dont need to upgrade please heeelllllp lol

tell us what you have on your memory card and where they are,you do know you start it through the recovery not through the xbm?

ok then on my psp root there is psp, dh, iso and MP_ROOT ok.
then inside dh there is a file called 05, 05beta, 271, 280, 282, 301, and 302
inside MP_ROOT there is a file called 100mnv01 and 101anv014
inside iso there is nothing
inside psp there is game150 and inside game150 there is %_sce_xflash inside that there is a eboot.pbp file
there is also a _sce_xflash file in game150
inside psp there is a file called system inside that there is AIOmod.prx , Devboot.pbp, vshex.prx, isocache and a folder called browser
inside the game folder in psps there is _sce_devhook inside that there is a pbp file and also in game there is the recovery folder. in the recoverary folder there is decryptprx.prx, libpsardumper.prx, extprxs.pbp and eboot.pbp thats all the files in my psp

ok for the recovery files copy the orignials back over then get your renamed 1.5 eboot and inculde that in the recovery folder,so you have 5 files in the recovery folder,then start it through recovery

the only problem is that i dont have the original recovery files i thought these were the originals is there any way i can get them back?

the files that are already in the recovery, u dnt need. delte them so theres nothing in them. place the 2.0 eboot in there and rename it to EBOOT.PBP. run from recovery. voila your psp is now 2.0. use the 2.0 downgrader (safest downgrader out for the psp) get back to 1.5 in no time.

he dnt need them man! just delete everythign of recovery. place teh 2.0 eboo tin tehre and run from teh recovery menu. i doen this yesterday.
