Thanks to everyone that helped me and i am really sorry for being a pain in the a$$ for overlooking so many things, Thanx again!
Quote:Ok first let me thank you guys once again. As far as the 3.4/Samsung TS-H552U i did that firmware update and i always make sure i am running DMA so that isn't a concern of mine and now it is getting around 13 1/2min and to me that is a good improvment but i would like to know what you guys think?
You're welcome, glad binkie and I could help. 13 1/2 minutes are good, those are my usual ripping times. Enjoy ripping and burning now.

Again, you're welcome. Going from 37 minutes to 14 minutes is a huge improvement. That's how it supposed to be on the first place. Yep, nearly all my ripping times are roughly from 12 - 18 minutes. Like I said, once it went beyond 25 minutes, then it is likely a DMA issue. However, you're all sorted out and seems like you're back in business. Enjoy ripping and burning to the fullest.

Glad you got your problems sorted....you can also set the booktype on your NEC drive with the Win32GUI. This will increase compatability among standalone players when burning to DVD+R, and +R only.
