PSP -> 2.60 TA-082 + 2.71 - 1.5 + 3.03 OE-A + OE-B + OE-C + 3.52 M33 - 3.40 OE-A + 3.52 M33-4 + 3.71 M33-4 + 4.01 M33-2 w/ 1.50 k = dropped 1ft and lost my PSP permanently

explain :D[/quote]ok with the up modchip it allows you to rewrite the flash memory over and over even if your psp is turned off so if you brick it just hook the chip to ur pc and reformat it with a working firmware and vola your psp is no longer bricked, and with the chip i believe by holding l or r shoulder button u can switch between the orginal psp chip or the modchip so u hold the button to always boot from mod chip and there u have it the best psp for homebrew!
u can get modchips off the net but i highly recomend looking for someone to install it for you, i live in bc canada and i found someone that actually warrentied the mod chip installs all for $100 a lil expensive but at least you dont have to worry bout screwing the job up

i know quite a few Electrical engineers..im sure they would be able to do it if i got them some sort of instruction.

i dont know of anyone there but i suggest you look at buy and sell or something that you have similar to that i just used the www.buysell.com and no problem at all i found like 20 in my area

Really? Sweet. So is there no need to go the uninstall menu under devhook and uninstall DH files from flash0 or flash1?
I thought some files were installed into the actual PSP itself, not just the memory card.
Sorry if I'm being a pain, there's just quite a lot of different ways I've heard you can do to remove DH and/or custom firmwares.
Oh, and thanks Rickrula2, that's a comfort. I understand now about the recovery menu in 3.03 OE so that's excellent.
As soon as I've worked out how to properly uninstall DH so there are no problems, I'll be installing 3.03 OE-A then upgrading it to B.

Dev hook dosn;t stick to ur psp !
just kill the files on ur ms0:\ (by kill i mean delete =p)

all i've herd so far are problems...for some reason
