@ dreamer2: Try not to compress the eboot then..some games don't work when compressed.

Hi!
I've followed the instructions exactly.. however i'm only producing the eboot.pbp file but not the keys.bin file. Do you know what i'm doing wrong? I've ripped it with cdrwin. I have a .cue and .bin file. SO when i load popstation i find the .bin file right? not the .cue file? But either way i tried it with both and they don't produce a keys.bin file. Can you tell me what i'm doing wrong?! thanks!

Great Job Enral. Just wanted to drop aline and say this worked like a charm However, I was wondering if you could go one further and walk us through the process of using a downloaded file to achieve the same effect. This would help me immensely as my copy of FFVIII (Final Fantasy 8)game disk 1 had problems with the initial process and I was thinking of obtaining it by other means.

just download the bin format psx images using torretz and use the magic iso utility to convert the bin file to iso, then use PSGui v3.00 to extract the iso, add icons, backrounds, ect to your eboot, then send it to your psp/game!!

you have to be using dark_alex's custom firmware,, i recommend 3.03oe-c myself because you dont need all the extra flash programs, you can just acess the flash0 and flash1 folders through the recovery menu(if you dont understand what i just said and are hell bent on changing fonts n intros, ect. then upgrade to 3.03oe-b after you get 3.03oe-a if you dont have it already)

psp-hacks.com in thier downloads section

*falls on the floor*
whew that was a long one,, if all else fails for n e one, just google it aye!!

This is the easiest guide Ive ever used.
I ripped grand turismo 2 disk 2 and converted it to a EBOOT file.
Just waiting for GTA LCS unpatched to come tommorow so I can downgrande then upgrade to a custom firmware.
Hope it works

Hey guys, I've been trying to do this to my psp and it doesn't seem to work. all the 3.02 OE-B files i downloaded show up as one part of the file is corrupted on my psp. The version of my psp is 2.60, if all i need is to update can somebody tell me. I have a newer psp the mother board number is: IC1003
I've get the games conved right(I think).
So yea I just need a 3.02 OE-B file with install (noob-proff) readme file.

I was wondering the same, but I just put the eboot into my game folder in its own folder and it worked.

i believe in Zinga Burga's Popstation there's a fix for PAL stuff, but it's still touch and go for some reason, NTSC stuff works better.

Hey Mad dog, Umm I had the exact same problem, I was creating the Eboot file but not the keys.bin file. I downloaded a previous version of popstation and it created the keys.bin file with the eboot file. So just download a older version of that program. It solved my problem!

Mad dog, what version psp do you have? I had to upgrade my to 3.03oe-b for it to work. So maybe you have to upgrade it to that version.

oh boy, umm if you're running sony's 3.10 then you might have a problem. I'm still very confused about this whole thing but all I know is that you need to downgrade your system to a 1.50. Then you have to upgrade it back to a 3.03 with Dark alex's version not the psp. http://lan.st/showthread.php?t=526 that forum is how I got my OE-B installed
