im TheIrishNinja over there - you? and do you play resistance? i was lookin to see if anyone had teams or even just others gonig with them, here or kotaku.

FEAR is good. It's not a great PS3 game--it looks like a PS2 game, especially the way it handles. On top of that, the load times are almost unbearable. The firefights, however, are incredible. The slow-mo, body parts exploding, are fun as well. Good game--but should have been much, much better.
Motorstorm is great. The graphics, music, framerate, and overall fun, is unmatched. The only gripe about it is there's not enough tracks! Playing online is fun as hell.
I've never been a fan of fps, but Resistance is probably my favorite game on the PS3 right now (followed by Motorstorm, MLB 2k7). Comparing FEAR to Resistance is not even fair. Resistance is absolutely stunning (graphics, sound, framerate, online play etc.).
The other games I have are Oblivion, Tom Clancy Double Agent (also should have been much, much, better), MLB2k7, Need for Speed Carbon (is it? i forgot lol), Madden, NHL 2k7, and I think one more.
I can't wait for Ninja Gaiden, and of course, GTA IV. There's a couple of new action games coming out that was covered in this month's PSM. I don't remember their names though.

mines maggot21...i was wondering because...well...i sent you a message...that will explain...fear is not so great...i bought it because i heard it was great on the xbox and pc...and i guess thats the only place where its great...

and what didnt you like about F.E.A.R.? Mr_Pink says what most of the reviews said: muddy graphics (framerate, or just the look?), bad load times (im hoping that's between areas and not laggy gameplay) and such...im just curious cause i know its the worst of the ports but ive never played any of em, and have heard from PC gamer friends that its a great game that'll scare the shit out of you, which im always down for.

yea...gameplay itself can be laggy...the games mood changes violently...thats wut i liked about it...one moment i would be going down a hallway and owning clones...and the next moment...im in a dark and eerie boiler room...

I bought Resistance and I'm enjoying it lots. I say it's a wise buy and if you don't got it the you should hurry.
I can't wait for Assassins Creed to come out in September. BTW anybody know any official release dates for it cause I've also heard August, and November.
Plus I have looked at F.E.A.R. a couple times and it doesn't really look that great but tons of people say it's awesome.

Yeah, I'm looking into getting it soon. On futureshop.ca and other places when you pre-order it it says sometime in September for assassins creed..I can't wait for Socom: Confrontation.

Have to agree with D3Daim, Oblivion, is one of thee best put together games i have seen, hours of gameplay, i dont have it, i aint gettin it but thats not to say its sh*te.

I'd like to see your mental capabilities of spelling..
How can you compare RUNESCAPE to Oblivion? They are 2 completly different games and both are completly different. I personally did not like that Runescape game when i tried it out 3 years ago.. for maybe 10 minutes. And how is someone gay or on drugs by playing a game in which you kill creatures in the woods?

i have it and its second on my list resistance fall of man my top game than F.E.A.R.
